We have children, she home schools them, keeps the house, washes cloths, cooks meals, and virtually endless other things...

All well and good.

It does not, however, entitle her to her own credit rating.

Suppose I authorized her a line of credit for a cell phone plan .

Tomorrow, you kick her out on the street. No skills, no job.

What then is my recourse in collecting the bill?

No paying job, no credit. Welcome to reality.

If I’m married to her and I “kick her out on the street” I’m still liable for the bill. Any charges she runs up on credit cards etc is the same.

Only legal separation changes that.

Try again.
