If they Libertarian Party doesn’t ALSO fight this fraud, then they serve no cause of LIBERTY.

So if someone draws an X through your vote IN ONLY ONE RACE, they can invalidate your ballot?

Yes, but only if the "X" is through a ballot marked for a Republican candidate .

But if the "X" is through a ballot marked for a DemocRat it is a legimate ballot for that DemocRat candidate.

If Pawlenty thinks he has a shot at being a GOP presidential candidate, forget it. His performance has been exceedingly weak during this debacle. He has not exhibited any leadership ability, instead sitting back and letting the 'Rats steal this Senate seat.

Perhaps the X mark came from a dedicated counter of votes? In other words, a Democratic correction.

A correction needs to be made in the blog, though. The projection of a 78-vote win for Franken is based on the Star-Tribune’s “ballot challenge” responses. I watched it off and on for a while on Friday and found it to move up and down depending on trends for either candidate. Everyone should know that projection is not official by any means. Franken’s “lead” is not going to hold, because the board still has more than 5,000 ballot challenges to go through.

Boycott Minn. Maybe a huge drop in tourist dollars might clue these goofballs.

It was -15F this morning. I don't know what effect you think a boycott will have?

If the spineless eunichs in the Republican party don’t fight such obvious fraud, then they deserve to lose. If the Republican party is to be salvaged it need to be re-organized from the top to the bottom.

Coleman lost the recount before it was started. He should have conceded at the outset.

The X on that ballot is the straightest hand drawn X I ever saw. It almost looks like a stamp.

This is a great article. Someone should forward to the fools doing the counting, along with members of the Minnesota Supreme Court.

So good they use paper ballots and not some complicated computer box.

For reals.

If they MUST stick with paper ballots, then what they should do is have one of those giant laminators, and when you're finished marking your ballot, you walk over and feed it into the laminator. Then they just have a giant laminated spool of ballots that can never be tampered with, and if they have to do a recount, then they take it to a warehouse, unroll each spool and walk the line.
