When will this preposterous meme end? Let them keep placing him on high, the fall will only be greater when reality hits. If they are billing him as the greatest ever, when he shows he's mediocre at best, the perception will be further tarnished. Worst ever, maybe?

Mybe Obama will be the white man’s Lincoln and free the white man from being slaves of the politically correct.
Ever since LBJ dreamed up the War On Poverty and The great Society whites (especially employed white males) have increasingly become second class citizens.
When society says it allows preferred treatment for one group what that really means is that it discriminates against another.
Forty years after MLK, whites have the same dream he had - We dream that all Americans will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

According to a press release by the Presidential Inaugural Committee, President-Elect Barack Obama will be sworn in using the same Bible that Abraham Lincoln used for that purpose
I wasn't aware Lincoln was sworn in with the Qu'ran.

In his day, Lincoln was the most hated President this nation has ever produced; no other even comes into the running for that title. Saying the Lincoln was a “healing figure” isn’t some minor distortion of an arcane point of history; it’s a wholesale rejection of even the slightest understanding of his entire presidency. He was also about as far from an “anti-war” president as any man could possibly be.
