I’ve been screaming in here for years that until my local and state government enforce immigration laws that small business owners shouldn’t be singled out.

They (Maryland and the Federal Government) have implicitly and explicitly supported illegal immigration.

He was jailed for assisting illegal immigrants find temporary shelter. Like any good Christian would have done.

It seems you're suggesting if we all don't protect, harbor, transport, and provide aid to illegal aliens, we are not good Christians?

Is this right?

Every week Bush goes to some military celebration or gives a speech to soldiers. He beguiles them and lavishes in their support. Little do they know they are fighting to protect the middle east assets of global capitalists and not America. I think once I saw a report that Bush visited the border.

It's clear to me who Bush protects. It pains me the choice between two more or less equal evils when it comes to presidential races.

Not at all. I was referring to the rite of Sanctuary.

Dictionary: sanctuary

1. A sacred place, such as a church, temple, or mosque.
2. The holiest part of a sacred place, as the part of a Christian church around the altar.

2. 1. A sacred place, such as a church, in which fugitives formerly were immune to arrest.
2. Immunity to arrest afforded by a sanctuary.

3. A place of refuge or asylum.

4. A reserved area in which birds and other animals, especially wild animals, are protected from hunting or molestation. See synonyms at shelter.

Not at all.

But you stated above that any good Christian would assist illegal immigrants in find temporary shelter.

Is this not aiding and abetting, and giving support to people that have entered our country illegally?

.

McAmnesty only got 10% of the his-panicky vote in November for his amnesiac-amnesty delusions!

Lots of early signups of sleepers and the wimpy pretenders on FR - La Raza Transformers in drag......

They often just say “Conservative” or “Christian” a lot and expect everyone on FR to believe they are sane and political geniuses

Ya see he was convicted of conspiracy to harbor and transport illegal aliens. And Bush pardoned him.

You stated "Any good Christian would have done the same".

So once again, I ask you a simple question.

Are the rest of us not good Christians for failing to conspire to aid and abet, harbor, and tranport illegal aliens?

Well, now that you've piqued my curiosity I will have to read through the thread, lol.

You note the early signups and I note hundreds of new 2008 signups and they immediately post articles.

I'm not going to play your games. There are variances of religious expression just as there are different degrees of Conservatives in the Republican Party.

Not playing games slick. I'm quoting your own words below.

"He was jailed for assisting illegal immigrants find temporary shelter. Like any good Christian would have done".

Once again, he was convicted of conspiracy to harbor and transport illegal aliens. And Bush pardoned him.

You stated "Any good Christian would have done the same".

The only one playing games here is you.

You stated "Any good Christian would have done the same".

That's right. Change 'would' to 'might'....I don't care.

Educated by Franciscans and Jesuits and raised by the Sisters of Mercy. I know a lot of Christians who would help somebody, whose only crime was sneaking into the country to find work.

Zero wouldn’t even have to pardon Ramos and Compean, he could just commute their sentences and let them go with time served. Hell, even I would praise him for doing that.

Your words.

"He was jailed for assisting illegal immigrants find temporary shelter. Like any good Christian would have done".

In reality he was convicted of conspiracy to harbor and transport illegal aliens.

You came on here suggesting "Any good Christian would have done the same".

You can't put the bullet back in the barrel.

The Internet makes a near perfect witness, and does a great job memorializing statements made by people...Like you.

I wonder how much money this coyote made from his illegal alien smuggling business. It figures that he’d score a pardon from the Coyote in Chief.

Your long-winded response aside, I stand by my words.

Any good Christian would probably commit the same crime this guy did.

Just because there are Christians who would immediately call the authorities on the guy...it doesn't mean one is less of a good Christian.

After all, Judge Roy Bean thought himself a good Christian too.

One's fierce...like you.

The other is compassionate...Like President Bush. And me. ;^)

I know a lot of Christians who would help somebody, whose only crime was sneaking into the country to find work.

I'd be fine with it if those same a$$holes paid all of the taxes, medical bills, and compensated the victims for all the crimes committed by these people just "sneaking in to find work".

Of all the millions of criminals in this country, I’d like to know how this particular guy got the attention of a Presidential pardon, after everything that has happened involving our violent lawless borders, how Bush could rationalize this.
