I hope Mr JOHN DEE sets an example by not eating on Christmas day. He can cut his portions down every day for that matter and send them to Africa.
I’m sure food matters much more in Africa and the carbon footprint getting the extra food there is insignificant.

This just in— all life on Earth causes the destruction of the planet. It was better off as just a rock.

I am also making a garlic herb and pepper crusted rib roast. I just hope we have enough. The kids are definite carnivores and I forgot the horseradish.

The remarkable thing about this fictional worry (remarkable to the liberals) is that in all of 2008 my family has not thrown away any food at all. Nothing goes bad in our refrigitator because we have multiple teenagers. No one takes more on their plate than they want because they know they are welcome to take seconds and thirds after a modest first serving. As for Christmas, it’s not about stuffing our faces - we’re Christian and today is about thanking God for the greatest gift of all.

Wow, a commie-traitor two-fer: Attack Christians AND hammer home global-warming hokum at the same time!

We could make a game of this. What other commie-taitor two-fers can fellow Freepers dream up? Such as, apple pie is racist?... Because George Washington couldn't tell a lie about the cherry tree, and George Washington was white... Oh, and apples are related to cherries.

Come to think of it, commie-traitor rats do this two-fer crap all the time. We should, too. Never attack only on one front.

Who would have thought that the creation of a new world religion would end up being so easy to accomplish with so little bloodshed?

I think the eco-nuts are having some kind of contest to see who can say the stupidest thing and have it picked up by the MSM. This might be the winner.

YUM! Sounds great! This year is simple and the recipe is from "The New Best Recipe" By America's Test Kitchen. Another good recipe is on the box of Morton's Kosher Salt. My husband bought a good bottle of wine so as soon as the roasted asparagus is done, we're eating!

Merry Christmas, Freepers!

If you haven’t, next time make slits in the fatty part and stuff with garlic. My husband says I make the best prime rib, but it’s so easy.

It occurs to me that in the Lexicon of the Liberal Leprechaun’s of the PBS ilk exist programming promoting “Compost”, and “Organic”. Much of that programming comes from the UK, and from Australia.

Liberal insanity angers me often, but I have to, as this instance laugh at them as well.

Liberals are incredibly, predictably contradictory.

We will be hearing this kind of insanity from the lunatic fringe until we start actively start treating them as such

Thanks for the hint! If people only knew how easy it is to make....I have to say mine was awesome. DH selected a great bottle of red. Just finished and turned on the dishwasher, time for a nap.

“Gore hasn’t missed any meals lately.”

Maybe he is looking to become the visual replacement for Ted Kennedy. I tried the Atkins Diet, Induction Phase (Google) and it really worked for me. Went from 159 lbs to 128 in about 3 months. Now I have crept back up to 145, and figure I’ll give it a try again after the holidays.

I made a baked ham. Checkerboard cut in the fat, studded with cloves, light sprinkle of clove powder. Then put it on a rack over a pan with 1 cup of water, covered it all with aluminum foil, baked at 350 for 20 min./lb. Then removed the foil about 20 minutes before done, smeared the whole ham with applesauce (mango flavored, optional), added a little water to the pan and finished baking. The best, most tender ham I have ever eaten (a Smithfield).
