My bad. Some lame mass media source presented “Che’” as strictly Del Toro’s project and made no mention of the real perpetrator: Steven Soderbergh. If I were the actor I’d jump on the opportunity to be the star of a 7 hour-plus project, too. Sweet sweet paycheck.
Also learned that Del Toro, like Banderas, is actually a Spaniard. It’s really weird that Latin America has to outsource for male actors possessing any charisma. I also saw how Director/Producer Guillermo Del Toro has sworn he’s done his last business South of our border due to the corruption and inability to safeguard his crews. FReep Island Out.
