Merck Stops Producing Vaccines Not Based on Abortion

Washington, DC -- A leading pro-life group that educates about the vaccines that are based on the cells from babies killed in abortions is worried about a new decision from the pharmaceutical giant Merck. The company has decided to stop producing some vaccines that are not made based on fetal cells from abortions.

Really. If Zero finds out the number of baby killings isn’t rising he’ll be pissed.

I have a chart of vaccines which lists which ones are the result of abortions. I’ll try to find the source.

It’s abortion that motivates many families to avoid vaccinations altogether.

Can you trust a drug company that peddles death, even part-time?

I am willing to bet that the “so called” pro-life version was just labeled that way.

Now the Merck announcement that is meant only to publicize their alignment with the Culture of Death.

We didn’t vaccinate our daughters because I have a nephew who had his development severely zapped after getting the vaccination. The pushy-ness of doctors and nurses for us to comply to their Malthusian agenda to end all disease is very creepy. The say, “All these diseases are making a comeback don’t you know.” Yeah right, that’s because people stopped vaccinating? NO! It’s because of massive immigration, and guess what? You’re abortion slurry has been powerless to stop it.

They’re just experimenting on our kids to build their utopia. If a few of them get asperger here and there it’s worth it; collateral damage in the Humanist war against Humanity.

I sent this article to my nurse-supervisor. I will NOT be administering this product, any other like product. Fortunately, in my dept, it doesn’t come up much. My nurse-supervisor is very pro-life, as are many of the physicians. I work in OB, where we spend time trying to save babies. To inject someone with the remains of a murdered baby is wrong on SO many levels.

IMO, if it were a product that were based on something that was forbidden in the Muslim religion, it would no longer be produced. PC, you know. (Sorry for the unrelated rant. I think that you understand.)

I would like to see a list of Merck products so I can avoid them like the plague (which has no doubt killed fewer babies than Roe v. Wade).

I think these cells were taken from infected fetuses that had been voluntarily aborted and the cells have been propagated in a lab since to provide a basis for the vaccines. One I know for instance came from a fetus aborted in 1961 and cells from that fetus are still being propagated for a vaccine. They don't kill a baby for every shot or anything like that.

I'm not as appalled as some others by this because these abortions were going to take place anyway and at least this way these lives mean something. Something good came from these lives. I wouldn't feel terrible about my kids having these vaccines, and for all I know they've already had them.

Um the ends do NOT justify the means, no matter how great the ends, or how small the means.

It sounds like a case of the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few to me, and that is what is wrong with the morality of this country today. Vaccinate my kid but at the expense of anothers. Nope. Can’t accept it.

From: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/combo-vaccines/mmr/faqs-nipinfo-mmr.htm

Q: Does MMR vaccine contain fetal or embryonic tissue? If so, what kind?
A:The rubella vaccine virus is cultured in human cell-line cultures, and some of these cell lines originated from aborted fetal tissue, obtained from legal abortions in the 1960’s. No new fetal tissue is needed to produce cell lines to make these vaccines, now or in the future. Fetal tissue is not used to produce vaccines; cell lines generated from a single fetal tissue source are used; vaccine manufacturers obtain human cell lines from FDA-certified cell banks. After processing, very little, if any, of that tissue remains in the vaccine. Human Cell Cultures webpage (exit) and Summary of Vaccine Contents (2/27/03)

I was unaware of this as well.

The article states that Merck is choosing to focus solely on the vaccine that generates 98% of their revenue. In a time when cost cutting measures are necessary, is this really a surprise? No doubt this has everything to do with reducing complexity (aka cost) and nothing to do with the origin of its cell lines.

How is it at the expense of anothers when these mothers were going to abort these babies anyway? That's like saying it's wrong to accept an organ for your child donated by the parent of a deceased child, as if giving your child this organ was somehow at the expense of this deceased child. It would be one thing if the fetus was killed to get the vaccine, but that's not what happened. What you have is a fetus that was aborted and instead of just going in the trash can or whatever they do with aborted fetuses some cells were taken from the fetus that were used to make vaccines that have kept millions of people from getting sick. It was wrong for the mothers to abort the babies, but at least something good is coming out of it. Shoot, most of us live into our seventies and never help anywhere close to as many people as these babies who never got to know life. The abortions were wrong, but I personally don't think it's wrong to use some cells from these aborted fetuses to help millions of people on the country, many of which weren't even born when these cells were first taken.

Until today I had no idea this was even going on. I read that one of these vaccines common today was derived from cells taken from a baby aborted in 1961, before I was even born. I've probably had that vaccine. Most of us have probably had a vaccine like this. It's creepy that these vaccines were derived from cells from aborted fetuses. It's wrong that these women aborted their children, but I personally do not see it as being immoral to take cells from a fetus that was dead anyway to make a vaccine to help millions of people. You are free to have a differing opinion.

Educate before you vaccinate!

Aborted fetal tissue is but one problem with many (all?) vaccines.

I’m still waiting (years) for our pediatrician to produce a single long term study - double blind or not - comparing autism, cancer rates (etc) between vaccinated and unvaccinated children. There simply aren’t any. Not one.
