Democratic political guru James Carville predicts the Democratic Party — currently disgraced by the venal behavior of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich — will suffer a series of embarrassing scandals in 2009.
Carville, who ran Bill Clinton’s successful presidential campaign in 1992, said the reason is based on simple math: More Democrats in elected office increases the likelihood of scandal.
“I firmly believe that there are streaks, and that political scandals happen in clusters,” Carville said, in a posting on CNN.com.
There are several burgeoning scandals right now in Democratic circles:
* Blagojevich is accused by federal prosecutors of conspiring to sell Barack Hussein Obama Jr.’s former Senate seat to the highest bidder.
* Former low-rated talk show host Al Franken is being accused of stealing an election — with the help of Obama’s ACORN organization — in Minnesota.
* Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) is alleged to have not paid his taxes.
* Former Rep. Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s White House chief of staff, is accused of shenanigans regarding his property taxes in Chicago.
* Obama himself was alleged in the U.K. press to have had an ongoing affair, which, just like the John Edwards scandal, has not yet been covered by the U.S. media.

Well, the biggest current scandal is that a Chicago Mafioso/Muslim/Communist/racist/baby-killing/narcissistic foreigner just got himself elected president with the help of a complicit press.

Of course you’ve heard about McCain talking to a woman other than his wife that turned out to be just a woman other than his wife but you’ve never heard about this Obama tryst. Gosh, wonder why?

They're involved in outright Corruption, Graft, Fraud, Treason and a number of other CRIMES against the Republic.

He’s purposely lowering expectations so that when the scandals do hit, they won’t be so shocking because they were expected.
The Rahm property tax story seems to be a case of misinformation due to some complications in understanding the property tax reports. The Tax Assesor’s office indicates he does pay property tax.
Me too. I have not seen this tidbit either. Wonder if Carville is tossing out news to weaken the shock. If Obama is having an affair, it could get interesting.

One doesn't have to be clairvoyant to make predictions such as Carville's. He knows how corrupt the Democrat Party is; after all he was and still is a close participant in the Party's nefarious activities.

What’s notable is that some REAL scandals are conspicuously absent from the list. It’s not clear whether Carville or reporter generated the list. But it excludes Fitz’s investigation into the “Board Games” scandal which could implicate Obama, since he was the one who introduced legislation to reduce number on Health Facilities Board from 16 to 9 members, thereby making it far easier for “The Combine” to keep 5 sure votes in their pockets and thereby control that Board’s decisions about who would win and lose in the competition to build health facilities. It also excludes Obama’s own “shenanigans” with Tony Rezko regarding his house/lot purchase.
So it may be a combination of preempting expectations as well as misdirection on Carville’s part. Given his expertise in all matters surrounding corruption, his prediction can be taken to the bank.
