Joe Biden to Visit Pakistan
Hindustan Times ^ | January 05, 2009

US Vice President-elect Joseph Biden will travel to Pakistan this week to defuse regional tensions in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks, according to a media report.

A high-level Congressional delegation will accompany Biden during the two-day visit, diplomatic sources were quoted as saying by a TV channel.

The sources said the delegation is likely to arrive in Pakistan on January 9.

The delegation is expected to meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to discuss Pakistan-India relations, the war on terror and a 15-billion dollar aid package for Islamabad.

15-billion dollar aid package for Islamabad

I certainly hope that's a bribe to get them to clamp down on the Taliban using their Northern border to kill our servicemen in Afghanistan.

Oh and it's not our taxpayer money is it???

If so, how about a couple of billion for my town?

I’ll start the questioning, your Honor.

Question 1: Where are the Pakistani terrorists who were responsible and/or are associated with the massacre in Mumbai?

Question 2: What are the locations of the Taliban (Taleban) and other terrorists we are looking for whom are thought to be residing in Pakistan?
http://www.longwarjournal.org/cgi-bin/mt-search.cgi?tag=Pakistan&blog_id=7

BONUS QUESTION: How secure is your nuclear program (peaceful and otherwise)?

Time to dig a fallout shelter, if your house doesn’t already have one. I’d rather that Ronald McDonald, Emmett Kelly and Bozo try to patch things up between India and Pakistan ... at least everyone realizes what clowns they are and would act accordingly...

15 billion, lol! The American taxpayer continues to pay for a lesson yet unlearnt- that Taliban and Paki Army ISI are together in the whole scam.

Imagine the number of Taliban who would actually be killed (as opposed to Paki Army capturing a couple dozen or so of their brethren and parading them, prior to their release a few weeks hence) if this money and the other bazillions thrown into Pakistan were used as bounty for severed Taliban heads....

Oh, and this 15 billion?

The Mumbai attacks costed Pakistan about 820,000 dollars, for training and eqpt. as per this source:

http://www.rediff.com/news/2008/dec/26mumterror-mumbai-attacks-cost-lashkar-rs-four-crore.htm

For 15 billion, if a third of it were to be used to finance future attacks, that would give Pakistan the ability to train 600 teams in the manner similar to Mumbai, or a couple dozen 9-11 level attacks. All this for a third of the 15 billion.

Training regimen:

I just like the idea of Joe Biden as ambassador to Hamas.

Yes, it's quite apparant our "ally" Pakistan supports terrorism, lightly veiled. Very lightly.

Look what they did to India.

The US treads softly, but the big stick has been transformed into a nerf bat.

It's hard to call a faux ally on their allowing terrorism to flurish in their country when they have nukes.

We should do it anyway.
