I see that he's a pro-stem cell research, anti-Iraq war (basically left-wing) Republican. Another Schwarzenneger.
Keep pedaling Lance. We don't need another RINO.

Any media “celebrity” today can win public office, as long as they run as a Democrat. With the stealing of elections like Al Franken has just done, voting is a joke.

Hell! Why not?? We have Al Franken and are about to get Princess Caroline and “Headstone” Burris in the US Senate...how bad could Senator Lance Armstrong be?
He and his single nut should move to West Virginia, and try to establish residency before Robert Byrd dies, then go for that appointment...

I am sick of every Tom, Dick and Harry moron who thinks they are qualified to run for office.Oh, come on. Really? What kind of qualifications does it take to do that job? I could to it standing on my head while drunk off my a$$ (I do some really good political arguing while drunk). Anyone with half a brain and one arm could do it. A monkey could do it.
Public office is just welfare for rich people. The only public offices I can see as maybe being difficult to handle would be the executive positions such as President, governor, or mayor. Congress critters don't have to do squat. Just ask Mr. Present (er, President) Obama.

On Fox Business News, he commented that if Al Franken, Caroline Kennedy and Roland Burris can become U. S. Senators, why can’t he? It was meant to be a joke but in reality, 100 names from any phone book could do just as well as our esteemed senators.

End of discussionNo, I don't think so. The comment was funny, and if you don't want to have a discussion you should not enter into one. You are correct - you can be bothered by that comment and it is your business, but when you want to blame your feelings on someone's comment you can be called on it.
BTW, for the record, my father was killed by cancer after a long fight, and I finished radiation treatment in November.
