Coulter made it clear last nite (I'm posting virtually from the East Coast) on Hannity and Colmes that NBC never was going to have her on their show.

She was never in the lineup on their website, although she was told she was going to be on in the early morning, and then in the 10 O'clock hour.

They waited until the last minute to tell her that (among other shams) that the "real" news was too important to have her on.

They did leave Perez Hilton, a Hollywood poofter girly-boy who in the past has posted nasty comments about Coulter on his site.

NBC in their zeal to marginalize Coulter and the sales of her new book have brought her publicity that she would have to pay big bucks to get.

Liberals are always their worst enemies.

I have barely turned on Fox in years b/c of ass-clowns like Colmes and some of their “news” reporters. Just got so sick of them. Now they got my hopes up that Colmes was going away, and he is STILL THERE. What gives?

fwiw, I would be interested in listening to an intelligent liberal (if they could find one) opposite Hannity, for some genuine debate and insight, but Colmes is so insipid, so dim-witted, as he spouts his talking points. He doesn’t even pretend to think about what a guest like Coulter is saying — he just babbles a list of objections that usually are completely off track or else have already been answered in the book etc.

We had a local paper publish an article back around ‘82 about the men’s rooms in the dept. stores in the extremely popular new mall in Whitemarsh, MD. Big mall, lots of dept stores.

They had to keep them locked, seems every Sat morning some married guys figured they could get away to buy some hardware at Sears, wherever, for a “honey do” job and hook up in the seldom used bathrooms.

Fox News Launches New ‘Hannity’ Show

Fox News Channel will premiere a new show with Sean Hannity on Jan. 12.

“Hannity,” which will air weekdays at 9 p.m., will feature commentary, interviews and branded segments such as “Hate Hannity Hotline,” featuring dissenting voicemails and videos from Mr. Hannity’s syndicated radio show.

The program will host three in-studio guests nightly—a liberal, a conservative and one “x-factor”—as part of the “Great American Panel.”

“Sean is one of the top television and radio personalities in the business and we’re excited to be working with him on this venture,” Bill Shine, senior VP of programming at FNC, said in a statement. “When Alan Colmes left us with a void last month, we decided to build a new program utilizing Sean’s signature talents rather than take on the monumental task of replacing someone as exceptional as Alan and attempting to rebuild a rare chemistry that is unlikely to ever be matched in cable television again.”

The bolded part? The rarer the better. Colmes darkened the show tremendously.

It must have been a stipulation of his quiting that they say what they did in the last paragraph.

I watch Fox Biz News every Sat morning, 10-12. The Cavuto segment from 10:30 to 11 always has a Democrat “activist” of some kind, drives me nuts, it’s a business show not a politics show, WTF? Thanks, so much, for posting the video. I might not have known that Ann’s book is out for some time yet. Her not having been on the Dinosaur Today Show was not going to get the word to me. I can’t think of one show on NBC I presently bother to watch, and I can’t remember the last time I watched NBC. What a Great American Ann is!

This (below) may seem “off topic” but it actually does pertain to Coulter’s views about excesses of liberalism, the role of false victimhood in contemporary liberalism, and liberty vs. license, etc.

You reminded me of a big campus controversy at HAHvahd when a bunch of men (non-students) were arrested for having sex in bathroom stalls on campus — apparently the libraries and Science Center bathrooms had become known as quiet places for gay “cruising” and when the campus police reacted with some arrests, the local activists went nuts, claiming the police were cramping the lifestyles of gay men etc., oppressing their sensitive souls that yearned for anonymous sex with strangers in public restrooms, etc........

Harvard police arrested four men yesterday afternoon for allegedly engaging in “open and gross lewdness” in the men’s bathroom of the Science Center basement.

Witnesses said the men emerged from the bathroom in handcuffs at about 1 p.m., accompanied by several police officers. The four were then marched out of the building through the loading dock area, witnesses said.

“It was a long line and they had to make it through a big crowd of students,” said David A. Aronberg ‘93.

Those arrested were identified in the Cambridge police journal as Robert A. Russo, 34, and John F. White, 47, both of Arlington, William White, 27, of Roslindale and John Adams, 42, of Watertown.

During the last five years, police have repeatedly sought to crack down on illicit sexual activity in the Science Center bathrooms. In 1985, Dean of Students Archie C. Epps III ordered the doors on lavatory stalls removed, shortly after two undergraduates and a University employee filed formal complaints that they had been harassed in the bathroom.

At that time, the bathroom had reportedly been listed in national gay publications as a “T-room,” where men met to have sex.

December Raid

Harvard police recently stepped up efforts to discourage sexual activity in the men’s room, according to officers. On several occasions, plainclothes officers have been stationed in the bathroom to watch for illegal activity.

In a raid shortly before Christmas vacation, officers reportedly caught a number of men using the restroom for sex. Those men were not arrested but were given warnings to stay off University property, police said.

Anyone know what Sabine is doing now? She was running for the French Parliament a couple of years ago, but I think it was an uphill battle b/c she was running against an incumbent and she was after all only 25 or so at the time. We probably would have heard about it if she’d won a seat. I was searching online but only finding articles about her from a few years ago.....

She was being called “Mlle. Thatcher” and the new “Joan of Arc” for her potent leadership against corrupt unions which were abusing the French public with their stupid strikes.

Over the years, FNS occasionally had a guest, last name Wolf, who appeared to be a civil, rational, erudite, quite partisan Dem. Would not mind someone like him on more frequently in the ‘lib’ spot.

I DO like to hear the arguments of the ‘other side’ but so few we see pm tv see, tp know what they are talking about, and all come out sounding like nothing more than a reading of the daily talking points.
