I think that a better transcript of one of the calls is found at Sweetness and Light. It gives page numbers.

You’re wrong! This a transcript of VP Cheney and some Republican Governor talking < /S >
I call BS and your friend got took— Fitzgerald has not released any transcripts. ‘Sides, Rahm and BO got caught flatfooted with this investigation. JMHO
So you're saying truth -- the actual transcript -- doesn't matter as long as it fits your opinion?
I think you're on the wrong site. Or at least I used to think that. I'm not so sure, lately.
Yup, I think you’re right. Still, it was somewhat believable and that says something about these filthy Chicago thugs.
Of course it matters. I'm simply saying that the real one is supposed to be just as filthy as this one, in terms of the foul language.
It was believable, particularly since Rahm supposedly has a foul mouth. Here’s hoping Fitzgerald has the goods on a couple of them and is not afraid to pull the trigger...
According to what source?
I'm not defending Emanuel, Blago or Obama in this. I just want to know what source you are using to defend your position that "the real one is supposed to be just as filthy as this one."
I didn't even read it for content. I just saw all the F-bombs.
If this is not real as it so appears maybe you should pull it
I’m curious how the public would react to a Chief-of-Staff with a mouth more foul than the worst of Hollywood movies. How this kind of degenerate filth rose to power is beyond me. Or perhaps I’m just showing that I didn’t grow up in Chicago...
But I've called BS on myself.
John / Billybob
Likewise. I do hope that some real transcripts get out and are so 'sexy' (so to speak) that the press can't ignore them.
Re #52 ‘Tis the danger of the ‘net. Some things just reek of reality, like this. BTW, enjoy your posts and opinions...
Haven't you been following this story?
Justice Department Briefing on Blagojevich Investigation:
Transcript
Excerpts from the transcript:
Patrick Fitzgerald, United States attorney general for the Northern District of Illinois [speaking to press]:
"In the governor words -- governor's words, quote, 'Fire all those bleeping people. Get them the bleep out of there. And get us some editorial support,' close quote. And the bleeps are not really bleeps."
"A month or so ago a $1.8 billion tollway project was announced. While that tollway project was being announced, Governor Blagojevich was privately seeking to have a person benefiting from that contract raise $100,000 in contributions, and privately the government (sic) said, 'I could have made a larger announcement but wanted to see how they would perform by the end of the year. If they don't perform, bleep 'em.' That's a quote. And the word 'bleep' was not the word he used."

Here's some more. And I haven't even gotten to Rahm yet.
"Mrs. Blago, the former Patti Mell, won the hearts of old-school thugs everywhere with her f-word-filled rants captured on FBI wiretaps, some of which were colorfully detailed in the criminal complaint against her hubby..."

Yes, I have. The Dec. 9 news conference contains exactly one reference to Emanuel:
QUESTION: You spoke before about if Senator -- you didn't know the awareness that Senator -- or President-elect Barack Obama knew about this. So is it safe to say he has not been briefed? And can you also tell us if any phone calls that were made to President-elect Obama that you intercepted, or to Rahm Emanuel?
MR. FITZGERALD: Anna, I'm not going to go down anything that's not in the complaint. And what I simply said before is, I'm not -- I have enough trouble speaking for myself, I'm never going to try to speak in the voice of a president or president-elect. So I simply pointed out that if you look at the complaint, there's no allegation that the president-elect -- there's no reference in the complaint to any conversation involving the president-elect or indicating that the president-elect was aware of it, and that's all I can say.
How, exactly, does that support your statement that " the real transcript is supposed to be just as bad"?
Do you always repeat yourself when discussing Chicago politics, re: Rahm and street thugs?
Like I said, I was only referring to the foul language. I'll assume you're correct that Rahm was mentioned only once in the Dec 9th news conference. However, Rahm is supposedly on wiretaps, is he not? And he is notorious for his foul mouth. But you're right, no evidence yet of him using foul language in these conversations. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see if Rahm used similar language to Blago and his wife. But I would bet a healthy sum that he did.
