It might be a hoax...
Even if it is, the real transcript is supposed to be just as bad. I wouldn't be surprised if the Blago camp sent a phony one out themselves (IF this is indeed a fake) so to minimize the real one when it comes out, as many people will have heard rumors about a fake one going around and not take it as seriously as they might. The left does this sort of phony-baloney damage control a lot
Your premise was that it didn't matter if this transcript is incorrect, since "the real transcript is supposed to be just as bad."
Posting links, which I don't disagree with, to conservative sites describing the corruption/character of those involved, doesn't answer my original question about your source is for that statement, (other than your own opinion).
I think I'll cut to the chase here: if you have an opinion on an issue, that's fine and dandy. Then state it as an opinion, not a fact, unless you have a credible source to back up your statement. Try using "IMO" (in my opinion) or qualifiers such as "I think" in your posts, rather than defending an erroneous transcript because "the real transcript is supposed to be just as bad."

In terms of the LANGUAGE, yes! I didn't want people thinking the repeated use of the F-word was something someone made up.

My opinion? AG Fitzgerald stated in the news conference, of which I linked you a transcript of (from the NY Times), that foul language is heard throughout the wiretaps. You think he would make up a thing like that when it can be so easily verified (one way or the other) when the tapes are released?
Me (ETL):In terms of the LANGUAGE, yes! I didn't want people thinking the repeated use of the F-word was something someone made up.
More from Fitzgerald's news conference...
Attorney General Fitzgerald: The governor's own words describing the Senate seat, quote, "It's a bleeping valuable thing -- thing. You just don't give it away for nothing," close quote.
Another quote, "I've got this thing, and it's bleeping golden. And I'm just not giving it up for bleeping nothing. I'm not going to do it, and I can always use it; I can parachute me there," quote. Those are his words, not our characterization, other than with regard to the bleep.
The tapes reveal that Governor Blagojevich wanted a number of things in exchange for making the appointment to the Senate seat -- an appointment as secretary of health and human services or an ambassadorship, an appointment to a private foundation, a higher paying job for his wife or campaign contributions.

I’m glad you were able to put this up here and determine it was a hoax before you went public in more “public” forums. That’s the beauty of FR. Somebody, somewhere in FR is always more informed about these issues than just about anyone. Saves a lot of heartburn later if you check here first. ;^)
An Axelrod fabrication in typical layering of lies as a means to create an image ... classic astroturfing from the son of the father of lies.
That's now what you originally said, but you don't want to acknowledge what you originally said, so the conversation's pointless.
Bye, bye.
Whether it’s real or fake, I still think it’s a hoot. It’s exactly in character with those two buffoons.
As I said to someone else, I’m still glad you posted it. It’s a real hoot, and it’s exactly in character with the two supposed speakers.
After I explained that I was referring only to the foul language on the wiretaps (on the phony one as well as the real one), you continued asking for evidence. You claimed it was just 'my opinion'. I think I proved it wasn't (just my opinion). I didn't actually read the phony transcript for content... until just now that is! Wow! Hard to believe that anyone could have thought it was for real. I had just glanced over it earlier and saw all the dirty language and was trying to assure people that there WAS language like that used in the actual conversations.
Once again...
Justice Department Briefing on Blagojevich Investigation:
Patrick Fitzgerald, United States attorney general for the Northern District of Illinois [speaking to press]:
Excerpts from the transcript:
"In the governor words -- governor's words, quote, 'Fire all those bleeping people. Get them the bleep out of there. And get us some editorial support,' close quote. And the bleeps are not really bleeps."
"A month or so ago a $1.8 billion tollway project was announced. While that tollway project was being announced, Governor Blagojevich was privately seeking to have a person benefiting from that contract raise $100,000 in contributions, and privately the government (sic) said, 'I could have made a larger announcement but wanted to see how they would perform by the end of the year. If they don't perform, bleep 'em.' That's a quote. And the word 'bleep' was not the word he used."
(snip)

Regarding Blago's wife...
"Mrs. Blago, the former Patti Mell, won the hearts of old-school thugs everywhere with her f-word-filled rants captured on FBI wiretaps, some of which were colorfully detailed in the criminal complaint against her hubby..." --Michelle Malkin, December 17, 2008

Just to clarify, the transcript excerpts I just posted *are* for real. They were from Attorney General Fitzgerald’s Dec 9th press conference. The link is to the New York Times who posted the entire transcript.
But it does matter of course. I suspect that, if not a joke, it was something sent out by a leftist supporter of Blago, Rahm or Obama. The left has done this sort of thing before, fully expecting that it will eventually be exposed as a hoax, and as a result cast confusion and doubt over the real story when it comes out. They know that many, if not most, people don't follow these things too closely, and will have only heard that there's 'something' funny about the story. And that would be enough for them to have doubts about the story or even dismiss it altogether.
