If I were Bush I would have that rug removed ASAP. No telling what Bubba did on it. The stains are probably still there if you look closely enough.

I laughed out loud when he mentioned the rug.

Notice how Carter is standing as far from the rest of them as he can get and still remain in the picture? Or maybe it’s the rest of them trying to distance themselves from Carter?

It makes Nixon look good. Clinton, Carter, Obama.

The Bush men hope to lead by moral example -- that's why they are there. But sometimes you have to take the carcass of the outgoing and drag it around the palace in the dirt to make the point of separating the good from the unholy.

Bush put the rug in. Every president redecorates the Oval office when they get in. No doubt Obama will do the same when Bush is gone.

The new rug will undoubtedly contain the flag of Kenya.

Oh know, that would be disrespectful for people to walk on the symbol of a a sovereign world power like Kenya. It’ll be a rug with the US Constitution on it... the American Flag will be printed on the doormat outside, by the door nearest the new pitbull runs.

Probably a dumb question but would Bush be allowed to keep that rug if he paid for it? It seems all new Presidents have their own created in the last decades.

At least Bush’s rug is free of corruption, etc...

Clinton, Carter and Obama are a joke. The Bushes are moderate Democrats but they are better than Juan McCain. Reagan was the last real Republican President.

Poppy talking about Jeb running made me cringe - no thank you. Jeb probably would have been better than poppy or GW but no more. No more Bushes, Clintons or Kenyan illegal aliens.

I bet Reagan was glad he was not in that picture. The Dems are a joke and none of the 5 are even close to Reagan.

Probably each carpet goes to storage or a display at Smithsonian

Or not

Slick Willie has a copy of the Oval Office at his huge Muslim funded double-wide in Arkansas

Ahhh, I forgot that. Bush will have it on display at his Texas University library I imagine. Slipped my mind about that. I read that they bought a 2 or 3 million dollar home in Dallas.

I wonder if Clinton ever regrets the design of his library? I does look like an elevated trailer, lol.

Perhaps at his library - I’m kind of surprised that GW Bush is moving to an urban area -

Clinton is not known for his good taste - He is a relativist and adjusts his mind and vision to change reality

Lol, thanks for posting the pictures. His library almost looks like it it open at the sides on this end. An unusual look. Maybe it’s trying to be a “triple wide”, uh - triple long, lol.

Sorry, I’m finally getting to all my pings. I was surprised as I didn’t know about the fancy home being built. Have not kept up on it but Bush43 plans to keep busy with his library and the University from what I read.

They always have their ranch to go to.

Not a working ranch but anyone down here with a country home and acreage can call it a ranch practically.

I've had horses [3], sheep [6 or 8] and cattle [2], snicker, so I could call mine a ranch in the center of the city, lol.

Funny

We never called it a “ranch”

Just the “farm”

My brother’s FIL had a huge chunk of land he owned with his brother - truck crops and several big herds of Brahmas

Still called it the “farm” - not the “ranch”

Don’t you think it’s a Texas thing devolve?
It was mostly all cattlemen and big oil people in this area not too far back.

Down in the Valley - close to the border - they do real farming. Here, most anyone with some land will have some cattle or horses.

I think it was mostly a South Florida thing

Those with cattle only called their place a “ranch” or “dairy” - such as “Dun Wanderin Ranch” where our Brahma bull came from in lower Palm Beach County

We were farming several years before we starting buying dairy calves and Brahma steers

But then I live in the “Jungle”.....

Most people think in a straight-ahead direction

Missing many alternative solutions or information

Lateral thinking prevents a quick but erroneous decision or conclusion

It’s confusing -
