Are yall sure this isn’t from the Onion?
a snippet from the article:
“This has caused unspeakable turmoil in the environmental community”, lamented Rainbow Treetower... She noted that one female environmentalist was seriously injured during an altercation over the issue when a male associate tried to choke her by entangling her in a large dream catcher.

Excellent, I couldn’t be more pleased. Wait, I take that back, sorry. We have still not addressed the need for a government-funded program to enable transgendered single-parent squirrels to achieve their goals of full participation in the Endangered Species Program. According to the studies published by the Center for Rodent Responsibility (CRR) this will require daycare for young squirrels so that their parents may attend remedial nut-gathering classes, installation of handicapped squirrel-treadmills with ADA-compliant clawrails, and a concerted search for very, very small people with certification as squirrelstructors to run and manage the training facilities.

Who planted that squirrel there after construction was already started?
Very suspicious, I’d say.

It’s better than the Onion... they really don’t give it away until very close to the end, then you start looking back.
