Nigeria: Gaza - NSCIA Wants UN to Take Action Against Israel (Beat Israelis like Serbs in 1999)

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has called on the United Nations to take decisive actions against Israel as was done against Yugoslavia in the case of Kosovo.

A statement issued yesterday by the Secretary-General of the council Dr Abdulateef Adegbite said a Palestinian Relief Appeal Fund would be set up by the council.

The statement reads in part: "We condemn in the strongest terms Israel's dastardly attacks on the Palestinians in Gaza. The time has come for the United Nations to take decisive actions against the State of Israel as was done in Kosovo.

"It is a big shame that the Western World has remained indifferent or at best lukewarm since Israel began the massacre of innocent civilians mainly women and children over ten days ago: first through indiscriminate air raids and lately by ground bombardments, destroying all structures and killing any Palestinian they could sight."

The statement also called on governments and individuals worldwide to send relief materials to the Palestinians to ease their lingering sufferings.

"We appeal to all who cherish justice and humanity to shun Israel, isolate the lawless state and boycott its goods and services. They should also come to the aid of the suffering Palestinians by sending reliefs to the victims of the insane massacre," the statement said.

One big difference is that unlike the Serbs who used a lot of old Soviet garbage, Israel has top notch equipment. Between the IAF and the SAMs I would say the European air forces would last all of a week in attacking Israel.

Oh and Israel has nukes and missiles that can hit Europe. They probably would never use them, but do the Euroweenies want to bet their very existence on that?

Why don't the Nigerians just move to Kosovo to experience for themselves what the UN can do.

Criminals among criminals, Kosovo is an internationally sanctioned safe haven for criminals, I'm sure the Nigerians would be more than welcome.
