People don't seem to like fish. They're slithery and slimy, and they have eyes on either side of their pointy little headswhich is weird, to say the least. Plus, the small ones nibble at your feet when you're swimming, and the big oneswell, the big ones will bite your face off if Jaws is anything to go by.

No you can’t. PETA must thrive on pure ridiculousness. It turns what could be a reasonable cause into a parody that only an idiot could attach themselves to.

Nope, King Mack.
Wahoo: WAHOO Also known as Ono
Wild Caught, USA
Commonly known as Wahoo, is a close relative of the King Mackerel. Unlike true Mackerel, ono rarely school, but groups may be found around fish aggregation buoys. Surface catches indicate that Ono associate with banks, pinnacles and Flotsam.

Note to PETA: The reason people have been eating fish since the dawn of time is because they taste good. Jesus’ disciples were fishermen. I’m convinced that this vegan crusade is a mental disorder.

More lunacy from the left. Some people have way too much time of their hands. In the final analysis, the message of the (self-loathing) ecotard wing of the left distills into:

*snort* Our #2 son is a vegan, but it’s not a religious thing with him. He’s lactose intolerant, so doesn’t eat milk or cheese, and he’s a funds-strapped grad student, so meat and fish are big expenses. He’s quite well fed, though, and I bought him a vegan cookbook for Christmas called “Hot Damn and Hell Yeah”, subtitled “A Vegan cookbook for Hungry Banditos”. There were some tasty sounding recipes in it, too!

I think people should eat what they like and what makes their bodies operate the best. As for myself I could never be a vegetarian because my body has a huge need for protein. It has nothing to do with likeing meat, I just can't get enough protein from vegetables alone. I am always amazed when I talk to someone who can.

He gets his protein from tofu, seitan, beans and various grains. He also takes a protein supplement, derived from vegetable sources. He's fit, and feels good, so, more power to him. I learned quite a bit about vegan eating, while researching recipes for cooking stuff for him while he was home for Christmas. He, too, gets annoyed by the folks who believe they are morally superior because of their veganism.
We've been eating less meat over the last few years, simply because we wanted to make sure our cholesterol numbers didn't get too high, and we didn't want all the fat. SirKit's family tends toward high cholesterol, so we don't get excited about his results. As I've lost weight, mine have gone down, so that's a good thing.
I like veggies, so I don't mind eating more of them.

Tell him to stay away from Soy.
It will destroy his thyroid. Very damaging to his health.
Go for rice milk instead of soy milk. Look it up on the web... “Dangers of Soy”, Isoflavones, etc.
