That’s so horribly written I don’t know where to start.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought so. There may be a difference between anti-depressants and anti-seizure medications in general, but depakote is also used to treat bi-polar disorder. I'd have concerns if my child had epilepsy and was prescribed this med, but I think I'd have to try it if other meds didn't work well.

Its a tragedy when ever a child is lost. We should let the Travolta’s grieve in private. Its to his credit that Tom Cruise came to their defense and the defense of their church.

Travolta prayed to God aloud while EMT worked on the poor lad.

So much for wacko science fiction mythology in a pinch.

Let’s use the stock phrase back at ‘em:

“If it saves the life of just one child...”

Can’t say I respect Cruises’ opinions all that much, after he played the villain in ‘A Few Good Men’ and his jumping on the couch, hyperbole.

amen to that...

i am friends with a 55 year old oncologist.longtime family acquaintance

he’s only seen a handful of dying folks face death without asking for God and they were all mighty scared right at transition time

*this observance got me skewered by the cretin atheists at Clown Posse and Darwin Central

i’ve had two open hearts ...I damn shore wasn’t asking Obi Wan Kinobi for help as they wheeled me in to the op room

It’s a shame most people don’t figure things out before it comes to that. The world would be a much better place. Best of health to you.

So apparently, in the Travolta's case, it's OK to take medicine but in Shields' case, it wasn't. So which is it Tom?

It's the author of this article who doesn't have a clue. Scientologists are anti-Psychiatry, not anti-medicine.

This part is clearly written “... the anti-depressants Brooke Shields took back in 2004 when Tom Cruise openly criticized her for taking are not ‘mind altering drugs’”

Anti-depressants alter brain chemistry. If that doesn’t qualify as ‘mind altering’, I don’t know what would. The author is an idiot if she can’t see the consistency in Cruise being against Brooke Shields use of anti-depressants and for Travolta’s use of non-mind-altering medications.

Regardless of ones human beliefs at the end of life truth prevails.

My advisor wondered if I was going to face holiday blues no I told him its Easter that pains me.

God sent his only begottin Son to dye for a bunch of human punks.

I still cant fathom that love.

If depakote is used for bi-polar disorder, wouldn't you guess it is mind altering?

Tom Cruise is the worst kind of publicity whore for using his friend's son's death to thrust himself and this issue back into the spotlight.

Epileptics need meds of some kind, or they have potentially fatal seizures. Scientology says “no meds”: just use the quack e-meter and worship Xenu, the alien who lives in volcanos.

Scientology killed this boy. Won’t be the first who died at the hands of the evil Scientology.

The Germans are right: No recognition whatsoever for these malicious fools or their sicko “religion.” Investigate their attempts at subversion of the government.

For some reason, I thought the boy was on Dilantinn ot depakote. I could be wrong, but I’ve known 3 people with epilepsy and they were all taking Dilantin.
