Try 0 at every prompt. Usually means operator which is a live person. Works about 90% of the time when I get these things.

I the system relies on using button pushes, doing nothing will usually bring a human. The system thinks that you have a rotary dial.

If the system uses voice prompts where you must speak, I don't know if staying quiet will work

My habit is to press nothing like as an old dial/pulse phone. But somme automatic prompt menus won’t accomodate that any more.

When you get an Indian on the phone,just say to them that you cannot understand what they are saying and that you want to talk to someone who speaks English. They will immediately transfer you to someone back in the States. Works for me every time.

I have found that the Indians are very polite and accomodating. I’d really rather talk to them. At least they will answer the phone on a Saturday, they also don’t see every Saturday as a holiday.
