What Libby was really convicted of and why that verdict is irrational.

Bush should pardon Border Patrol agents Ramos and Compean at the same time.

Once again, the liberals have rewritten history to reflect their opinion instead of the facts. Add to that the megalomaniacal prosecutor’s version of truth and there you will find injustice.

Screw Scooter Libby.
Fugitive billionaire commodities trader Marc Rich, who, along with his business partner Pincus Green, had been convicted of tax evasion and illegal trading with Iran, and who, with Green, was ultimately pardoned by President Bill Clinton, was a client whom Leonard Garment had hired Libby to help represent around the spring of 1985, after Rich and Green had first engaged Garment. Libby stopped representing Rich in the spring of 2000; early in March 2001, at a "contentious" Congressional hearing to review Clinton's pardons, Libby testified that he thought the prosecution's case against Rich "misconstrued the facts and the law".
Nice. FUGITIVE Rich was on the FBI's Top Ten wanted list. The BIGGEST Tax Evader in US History at the time and Scooter 'thought' Rich was being unfairly targeted. Yeah, right. And I don't know where the idea came from that Scooter was some loyal GOP stalwart. He wasn't. He was just another hired gun scumbag lawyer.

He should be rotting in prison just for defending Marc Rich.

If Barack Obama would like to destroy what little is left of the GOP, he should grant pardons to Libby, Ramos and Compean immediately after assuming office.
