No pork on the menu? Serve him some ham, see if he touches it.

I often wonder why the meals have to be so elaborate. All those sauces and rich foods with everyone running around saying the country is obese. Makes me chuckle.

How about a nice plate of spaghetti and meatballs?
Nice meat loaf with mashed potatoes and corn and salad?
Chili?
Sloppy Joes?
Soup, bread, salad and beverage?
Steaks all around?
Nice, Fried Pork Chops with Green beans and potatoes and a little applesauce on the side?
Good ole American Hot Dogs on a bun with Baked Beans, French fries, coleslaw and potato salad?
Fresh baked ham with all the fixings?
Good hot, stew and dumplings

Seems to me there are a lot of really good, tasty, stick to your ribs foods that could be made and enjoyed by everyone. The menu is really silly when you look at it. All the Administrations do this. Sauces and the like to make the food sound fancy. Makes me chuckle like I said.

Very creepy! Obama and his family are now located in D.C. so next Saturday he is going to fly his family from D.C. to Philadelphia so he can return to D.C. by train?

This guy is so into the Bling!

I keep hearing on the news that a guy named Bernie Madoff is the biggest swindler in history. On Jan. 20th Madoff's world record swindle will be eclipsed by the scam Obama has and is perpetrating on the Citizens of the United States.

Will Lord Obama also wear a stove pipe hat and Michelle don a hoop skirt for the event? I suppose Obama will also start splitting fence rails as a hobby.

jeezz....it’s gonna be a long 4 yrs

Not to worry, I basically slept-walked through Clinton's eight years, turned the channel immediately if he appeared, got my news from the few (at the time) conservative sources and emerged in much better humor than I would've ever thought possible.

Matter of fact, it cut my TV viewing down so drastically that I read more, went outside more and developed some old hobbies like woodworking, much more productive.

This keeps getting more and more stupid. Be your own man, Mr. President-Elect. Lincoln certainly was.

Good God - this sort of gushing would be embarrassing if anyone in the MSM had any shame left. Does anyone recall any breathless reporting of what Bush had for lunch on either of his inauguration days?

Actually I do - it was puppies that he skinned himself on the White House lawn and sauteed over a fire made of old-growth timber while singing the Horst Wessel song. And then the reporting turned negative.

Thanks for the ping CD. Is there anything Obama does that is not for show and glitter?

We are all going to need that kind of comfort food during the next 4 years. I will probably gain at least 40 pounds (if I can still afford to eat).

“I’m not buying this Lincoln crap but too many are.”

That’s because the media has a blank canvas to draw on.

This mantra of “spending ourselves out of a recession” is about as sound as recovering from an airplane stall by continuing to pitch the nose higher.

When all the collegiates that voted Obama graduate with no jobs available, and they are flipping burgers with their degrees, they won’t show up for him again.

I can’t wait to see the debates in 2012 when Obama is telling us that, “we are starting to see signs that a recovery may be near.”

Sure, he’s Lincoln right now, but in the near future the veneer will lift to reveal “CARTER!”

By the way, Obama says indecisive words more decisively than anyone I have ever heard. Can you imagine a conversation between him and John Madden?

There’s probably ten more former Presidents who have had a VERY, VERY similar menu...

0bama wants us to believe he’s channeling Lincoln, when in practice over time we’ll learn he’s actually channeling Lenin.

I don't forsee him having to sneak into DC. I think it is more likely that 100,000 publik skool kids being bused in to spread rose petals before him.

Rose petals nothing. They'll lay down palm branches, before the donkey he rides in on.

Rose petals may be used as confetti though.

Government creates no wealth but does create spending and debt.

Just told hubby this morning I need to change the batteries in the remote....and after reading your post I just realized why. All the avoiding of Prez Elect is already costing me! (better invest in the Jumbo-pack of Energizers)
