Go to hell, Bobby Rush.
If they don’t disarm the American public soon, things could get hot. So... here it is...
What’s the status of that serializing of bullets and brass?
If this passes, I’ll never build another gun for the Government EVER.
Mike
Not the country I grew up in.
Yeah, to be sure, some things are better, but others, FAR worse.
I’ve been going bill by bill since congress got back in session watching for these. Guess my eyes start to bleed too soon and I missed this one.
I wasn’t too aware. Though I was born in 1985.
But growing up in NYC didn’t help at all.
Dunno, for all I know its being drafted now. A couple of well placed “donations” and the Seattle patent holders will get this pushed down our throats.
I’m very selective about whom I will and will not deal with. I’ll build guns for our military because I don’t want our guys and gals getting killed. I won’t build guns for most of the civilian agencies due to un-Constitutional practices and civil rights violations. For instance, until Lon Horiuchi stands trial for the murder of Vicki Weaver and his questionable role in Waco, I won’t sell guns to the FBI. Even if he did stand trial, depending on how the agency conducts itself, I doubt I would deal with them.
Check out our policies page on our website listed in my tagline.
Take care,
Mike
"..Rush's district is located principally on the South Side of Chicago. It is a minority-majority district and has a higher percentage of African Americans (65%) than any other congressional district in the nation. He is the only person ever to defeat President-elect Barack Obama in an election for any office.
Rush is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, as well as a former member and founder of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party..."
So what are they going to do? Go to every house to see if anyone has un-serialize ammo? Try that up in some of the hills around here and see what will happen ...
BLOAT...
I guess they interpretted their mandate to mean that Americans want more gun control. Here I thought they wanted cheaper gas and a pay raise. Silly me.
Too bad I never got to know that.
Looks good, too unfortunate the rest of the firearms manufacturers don’t have your backbone.
Of course, I can only buy one gun a month, but I am SO GRATEFUL my WONDERFUL GOVERNMENT ALLOWS ME to exercise my Second Amendment Rights (Privileges).
It's so comforting to know that THE GOVERNMENT knows what's good for me. In fact, I have a California Assault Weapons Permit as well, but that only cost me 20 bucks.
The Lord Obama will provide...
And that was when we lived in Long Island, NY.

Bobby Rush is the creep who, during a discussion with the ovesight agency Congress had created to monitor Fanny Mae, said that the report amounted to “the lynching of Franklin Raines.” Before he was forced out at Fanny Mae he had taken 90 million dollars for himself.
I have placed two calls to Rush’s office asking for comment on his moronic and racist statement. I can’t understand why, but his PR guy didn’t get back to me yet. Perhaps he lost my email address. I didn’t lose his though.
This is just the tip of the iceberg...
I just made a mistake in my post. It wasn’t Bobby Rush who was defending Franklin Raines. It was a Congressman named Clay. Sorry about that. I sure hope my age doesn’t have anything to do with that error.
The real question is how far are Americans will to go to protect their rights. We should be protesting in the streets if this bill passes. I dont hink we can wait any longer if this bill passes it wont be long before they start the confiscations.

All I get back is error messages. Does anybody outside of Thomas actually have the text of the bill?
Scary ping!!!
This last election cycle, as well as that of '06 has proved to me that the government will be able to do whatever it pleases without any problems whatsoever.
I'm afraid that beyond ranting and raving on various forums, you'll hardly hear a peep.
History Lesson
Bobby Rush, deputy defense minister of the Illinois Black Panther party,
reads a statement June 4, 1969, during a news conference following an early
morning raid on the Chicago Panther headquarters by FBI agents.
Gun Registration: Illinois, City of Chicago, home state and city of Obama, Ayers, Dohrn, and Rush, has one of the most drastic gun registration laws in the country. Wanna bet they will try to impose it upon the whole nation?

Here's an idea, Bobby: go to your own district and work on that. Stop the black on black crime there. Save the innocents who are being murdered in your hometown. Quit trying to tell other Americans how to live; you've got a handful to deal with right where you set up camp.
If you Congresscritters would just focus on getting your own constitutents to be responsible for their lives, they would prosper and so would the nation as a whole.
I mentioned to my neighbor last week sometime soon the tipping point will be reached. Be ready.
Someone used to keep score for nuclear doomsday with a "doomsday clock". Maybe we should start a countdown to 21st century Independence Day Clock...for me it is about a quarter to midnight. Vince
Well, don’t worry, we got the whole internet looking for this stuff.
BTW, hat tip to the guy at another forum that discovered this.
My two old links don’t work anymore:
search holt, then look for h.r. 45
Its on Thomas though, so it may not be what you’re looking for.
And that was when we lived in Long Island, NY.
I grew up on Long Island and used to do the exact same thing, except it was in the late 70's at Garden City Junior High. Our range was in the basement too.
Guess I’m gonna be an outlaw. I will NEVER submit to this.
Reminds me of a story I read this morning:
Exodus: Californians flee for a better life
State lost a net total of 144,000 residents in fiscal year that ended July 1, 2008. It was fourth straight year of losses.

I think shooting in a basement is a federal crime now. Not sure if I need a /sarc tag or not.
God has a special place in hell for dictators.
Unfortunately, brushcop, you are one of the few on this forum who reads the tea leaves as they are, not as we'd wish them to be. The patriots left, especially those anonymous bigtalkers on FR, can easily be isolated, disconnected and demonized one at a time. There will be no popular Alamo rallying point.
Each admirable holdout will be branded as a polygamist, child molester, religious zealot, or worse, a Palinite Conservative and they will be cornered and isolated while the rest of the country lets it happen.
Just ask anyone on a day FR goes down for a couple of hours how prepared they are that day for a "no-knock" at the door.
Furthermore, I'll even tell you how they'll be able to do it!
Instead of the 19 hijackers on 9/11, give them a deer rifle and a scope and put them in the trunk of an impala like John Muhammed did it in the DC Sniper shootings. Spread those 19 guys out all over the country and multiply the mayhem those two caused by 10, all at once.
Since the badguy is a sniper, he erases our argument for guns for self defense because you can't see a sniper to shoot back. So, Bobby Rush and pals will suggest that all honest citizens should want to turn in their guns, as "only terrorists need guns." And the rest of the sheeple will agree to hope and change for the 2nd Amendment.
Case closed, country gone.
therein lies true hope for change...
the real kicker is that this is blatantly against fed law, so why the problem with marshalls not escorting this maoist pig to lockup for conspiracy to violate fed law...???
these asshats that write bs *law* dont get jacked up for violations, but let a serf not see the new fine print and its off to the slammer and revocation [in theory] of Rights...
down is sideways, black is pink etc...
One possible response will be to compel every CCW to use their license and carry it! And if he see’s something like an Impala with it’s trunk puffing gun flash while people die, they smoke it. Maybe the terrorists take out more people but the argument for disarming the people is null and void the first time that happens.
somethin about ‘we’ll all hang separately’ comes to mind...
It’s a Baptism of COMMUNISM!
FOIC standing for Firearms Owner Identification Card, of course.
I think your right Thunder. Soon we will have neighbors pitted against neighbors. All in the name of "safety" of course.
This is what I expected. But look for The Marxist Onada to use executive orders to hurry along the assault on the Second Amendment.
After reading all this, and thinking on it for a while, I would say, if they are looking for Civil War II or American Revolution II, this is the perfect way to get it started.
I cant imagine any fool thinking he wanted to be a cop these days. That badge is going to be the first target to go.
