Muslim ads on county buses drive Jewish group to protest

There's a new front in the conflict between Jew and Muslim: Broward County Click here for restaurant inspection reports buses.

Fifty of the county's 290-bus fleet have been chugging around area streets for the past several weeks with a message that might seem more oblique than inflammatory. Black letters on a white backdrop proclaim, "ISLAM: The Way of Life of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad."

The $60,000 ad was paid for by the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

"We owe it to our fellow Americans to let them know that Islam stands for peace," said Altaf Ali, director of CAIR's South Florida chapter. "Muslims are here and Muslims are part and parcel of the United States."

That being said, as a Sovereign Nation, I would say that the First Amendment needs some revision.
Although the statement that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." sounds all jolly well and good, if you have a "religion" whose 'holy book' states that its followers need to either convert, or kill, or enslave those that don't follow its 'religion' - we have knowingly allowed a cancer to be let loose in the country.
The Founding Fathers probably never anticipated that we'd be welcoming Mohammedanism -- which at the time of Nation's birth had been at open war with the Christian world for nearly one millennium (either that, or the Founding Fathers figured -- if the people in this Country are so far gone that they allow Muhammadanism to exist on their shores ... then there is no hope for them).

Certainly the vast majority of the Mohammedans that live in the US are a peaceable, and respectable people -- but this dodges the fact that their religion (their 'holy book') advocates that they be at war with those outside their religion.
Praise the LORD that they don't follow their book -- but that just means instead of a virulent form of cancer in our country -- we are allowing a latent form to exist - and hoping that it doesn't break forth (until someone else's watch)...
