thank you for your comment..more well written than I could.

these are whiny children who are mad cause DADDY didn’t give them what they wanted ...they would rather have a benevolent dictator than a President. Now they can join the Libs and whine and blame Bush for Obama! Wow, that’s mature..ha.

I've been a professional writer for many years, yet words absolutely fail me when I try to express the depth of my disgust for people like you.

Your lack of words speaks volumes!

President Bush sent a message. But in my heart I know it will be ignored by the man who votes ‘present’ when it comes to tough decisions.

open borders too

Morons like you simply do not know the history of this country you purport to want to conserve. The United States has ALWAYS had open borders.

These people are beyond the pale. they are so despicable that words fail me.they engender in me a disgust and rage , not only at their stupid, baseless attacks, but also the damage they do to our country!

Another great speech by President Bush! Sad to see him go. We’re going to miss him more and more as Obama and the far left congress start ramming their left-wing legislation down America’s throat.

It was also ignored by the childish posters who wanted a benevolent dictator rather than a principled president.

“You obviously did not watch Chris Matthews spew his hatred. Matthews will be lost begining on the 20th of this month when there is no one to hate. I could not believe what that bastard said. Classless, feckless, hollowed out without character, Matthews read his speech of hatred for President Bush. My wife, who would not say anything bad about anyone, said she wants to call him a very ugly name. She wouldn’t, so I did. Matthews...sheesh.....what a prick and putz!”

Was your comment meant for someone else? No, I did not watch Chris “tingle up my leg” Matthews. We don’t support MSNBC and the other liberal MSM outlets by tuning into their shows. Matthews is a certifiable nutcase, imo.

What I did was watch a good and honorable man give his last speech to us as President of the United States of America. As for me and mine, we will always respect and be thankful to him.

This evening, my thoughts return to the first night I addressed you from this house – September 11, 2001. That morning, terrorists took nearly 3,000 lives in the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor.

As the years passed, most Americans were able to return to life much as it had been before 9/11. But I never did. Every morning, I received a briefing on the threats to our Nation. And I vowed to do everything in my power to keep us safe.

Thank you President Bush for keeping our wonderful nation safe for the past 7 years!

President Bush's legacy is that you are still alive in a free, non-sharia country and can carp about him on the internet.

One would think you could appreciate that.

My guess is that our hater would have preferred we throw Elian back into the ocean for the sharks to devour him.

When he said “goodnight for the final time”—that really hit home.

I couldn't watch it. Way too difficult. Maybe later on a C-SPAN replay.

Is there a way that we can write to President Bush and thank him? I think they disabled the e-mail box for the President on the whitehouse.gov website. I would imagine he was being inundated by hate mail from the looney Left.
