Hollywood celebrities to release video for Obama China National News Friday 16th January, 2009 (IANS)
Hollywood couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are releasing a film of more than 50 Hollywood stars pledging to support US President-elect Barack Obama's call for unity across America.
Kutcher has called on all US citizens to take heed and help Obama to make the changes he has promised, reports contactmusic.com.
'There's an assumption that this one man is going to take on his new job full-time and somehow wave a magic wand of change, and I don't believe that to be true,' he said.
He added: 'I think that we have to be the leaders, and that's not celebrities. I think that we as citizens have to be leaders of the movement that we want to create.'
'Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria Parker and 'Charlie's Angels' beauty Lucy Liu are among a host of celebrities who shot segments in which they promise to help out their local community.
The footage is set to premiere on social networking website MySpace.com Jan 19.
Cant wait to see it, not.
I am getting so sick of O and now the “Moment” of the Messiah, Republicans should be passing out barf bags on every corner across the nation.
I could reasonably demand to know where is the hurl alert, but then again, it’s implied by the title.
Sick.
The bedwetting left wiil probably gush in their skivvies when the god of their own making speak.
Narcissistic masturbation.
Sigh!....the list of Hollywould-be’s I’ll eschew watching on DVDS, Tv, and other media is dwindling.....
This sort of helps me with my “avoid” list. Thanks.
If Jesus actually showed up, only 5 Hollywood stars would attend.
The Hollywooders are so transparent, just like adolescents, they band together in their peer group. They only want to be “cool.” Not one of them has 2 functioning synapses. Let’s see how the California bankrupcy ends up affecting them.
Man, I just had breakfast, puke

My Vote's for Obama (if I could vote) ...by Michael Moore
Friends,
I don't get to vote for President this primary season. I live in Michigan. The party leaders (both here and in D.C.) couldn't get their act together, and thus our votes will not be counted.
So, if you live in Pennsylvania, can you do me a favor? Will you please cast my vote -- and yours -- on Tuesday for Senator Barack Obama?

Michael Moore (quote), from his website, April 14, 2004...

"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"
[actual quote from Michael Moore (2004). It still appears on his website]

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.

lol....is there anything but?
The second gas is over $4 dollars and another landmark is taken out, Obama is toast.
Hope someone lists the celebrities because I don’t want to view any of their movies, tv programs or read about them in the press.
Well, it’ll be nice to have the boycott list all in one place.
Absolutely well put!
This is a great point: For starters we have Speilberg, Geffen, Katzenberg, Streisand, Hanks, Hathaway, Moore, Di Caprio, Damon, P-Diidy, Beyonce, and Anniston.
Against America under Bush but for America when it fits their own agendas.
Burn in hell.
If you wanted to Unify the US then you should not have elected an empty-suite Socialist (with Communist eminence grice handlers) dilettante you stupid S.O.B.s.
I will do everything in my power to make sure this administration is exposed for its fraud and anti-American agenda at every step.
Unity my @ss!
‘There’s an assumption that this one man is going to take on his new job full-time and somehow wave a magic wand of change..”
Doubt beginning to creep in.
WOW...5??
I am surprised at that many...
These people and their egos, combined with pebo’s very inflated ego, are just more than I can take.
I pray that conservatives “change” their behavior and NOT watch the TV shows, movies, and videos of these idiots.
Unfortunately, during bad times Hollywood usually flourishes as many people turn to movies to escape. I know I’m running the other way.
Boycott Hollywood.
Kutcher has called on all US citizens to take heed and help Obama to make the changes he has promised...
***********
I’ll wait till I hear from Foreman, Fez, and Donna.
Obama has 100% approval rating from those people who have uttered “Oh my God, like wow, Paris Hilton said like something so like interesting like the other day. Like. And like wow he is like all that.”
In just received an email from DISH network promoting an HBO production ...calling us all to be *ONE* with Obama in some ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial (my favorite memorial in DC). I immediately replied... stating that I was NOT interested in being *ONE with anyone who supports abortion.
Don’t forget —> Dunst, Witherspoon, the Dixie Chicks, Penn, Pitt, Jolie...
Well, there’s 50 Hollywood celebrities that can kiss my ass for sure, then.
Yesterday, the movie Goodwill Hunting was on. It’s the story of a supposed “super genius” janitor who is suddenly ‘discovered’ by some liberal academics. I had seen it once before but didn’t remember too much about it. Anyway, when I tuned to it there was a scene where the ‘super genius’ was sitting down in an office being interviewed. Not recalling this scene at all, but anticipating the conclusion, the ‘genius’ was asked about what books or authors he likes. The ‘genius’ answers: “Howard Zinn, Power of the People” or something along these lines (it was definitey Howard Zinn, the radical communist author). Overjoyed by the response, the interviewer quickly replies back, [pp]”Oh, great choice! (being dead serious) Then you must really like Norm Chomsky?”. That was enough for me. I changed the channel. Chomsky is another well known communist academic.
And they think they are what??? special...hardly
So here’s the beginning of the Obozo list. It should be revised and published to make freepers aware of the movie choices.
1. Stephen Spielberg
2. David Geffen
3. Jeffrey Katzenberg
4. Barbra Streisand
5. Tom Hanks
6. Anne Hathaway
7. Demi Moore
8. Ashton Kutcher
9. Leonard DiCaprio
10. Matt Damon
11. Sean Puff Daddy Combs
12. Beyonce
13. Jennifer Aniston
H’weird slips in these digs at America persistently. If you ever watch any Robert Redford movies, he always slams the Republicans in some form. The most blatant was in “Sneakers” where he diverts money from the RNC, and the scene is located at the end of the movie. In “Spy Game”, his pictures of Republican presidents, and as a govt employee working for the Repub Admin, he works outside the law.
Maybe these A-list A-holes could find time in between worshipping their messiah to write a check to the Motion Picture Home, which is closing down and kicking about 200 indigent showbiz vets to the curb for lack of a couple million dollars to keep the doors open
The place where all intellectuals congregate.
Let’s add Whoopi Goldberg, Robert Redford, Kate Winslet, Emma Thompson, Dustin Hoffman, Adam Sandler,Sean Penn, Madonna, Will Smith, Brad Pitt
All you can do is laugh.
Oh goody, more than 50 Hollywood starts! whoo hoo. Not like we won't see more than our stomachs can tolerate now that it's award season in star world.
Yes, these people know how to make money, but between all of them, could you make one intelligent brain?
starts = stars (it’s Saturday, cut me some slack)
I’ll be sure to miss it.

Exactly. Although I already know most iof the, having a list of 50 stars that I can avoid giving my ticket money to is nice.

Thanks for this list. And thankfully, none of them were involved in any of my favorite TV/movies.
I predict, that when all the glory fades, and the hard work begins, the shining star will burn out. If he doesn't produce what he promised, and his inability to lead becomes obvious, the sharks will eat him alive, just watch. Blaming Bush and the former administration for this country's problems will only work for a while, then he will have to start taking the criticisms for his own ineptness.
And Obama, with his thin skin and narcissistic inability to endure anything but adoration and handle objections aimed at him, will have a melt down or a break down of some sort. He just does not have the character or stamina to endure what is ahead for him.
Did you not know that Spielberg and Streisand are Democrats?
Yep, I knew and they’re on the list.
