Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
Hello!
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Good Lord’s Day to you, Kirkwood. Project finished? Cold weather?
The first half of the project will be finished by tomorrow. I plan to start the report writing tonight. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish part 2 next week.
Not as cold here as I thought it would be today. It is still 52 out right now.
I hope you are doing well this weekend!
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Prayers going up.
Good job on your project....have a good report writing day.
We are in the 4th day of a chinook wind....temps have been mid 40s during the day. Right now it is 37 and all the snow is gone from rooftops, pushing 2’...the chinooks are so powerful that they melt and scour. And a sand truck just came thru...I’ve not seen one on our street before, ever! The street IS a sheet of ice. And since it IS winter, all the drains are frozen, so snow melt has no place to go. Downtown they are trying to thaw the drains, as more than a few streets are flooded.
Nasty weather for getting out and driving, but at least it sounds like the sub zero temps are over for awhile. Still a lot of winter ahead though.
Thank you for Chapel & a blessed Lord’s day to you both! *Hugs*
Good Lord's Day to you!
Kathy....thank you!!!
Happy Lord’s Day to everyone!!
When that stuff really freezes you're going to need 3 or 4 good snows to get a pack down again. Meanwhile people will continue to spin out all over the place.
We went through it last Tues....32 to 5 in about an hour, which froze all the slush solid, and then it was to late to do anything about it. :-(
I was out early the next morning, because I had to be, but it was scary....sheer, 5mm deep ice.
I have to go, but caught your good post.
“Absolutely,” said the professor. “In your lives, in your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care.”
Well done!
