Barack Obama's inauguration address will stress "responsibility" by calling on Americans in government and business to embrace a new era of proper behavior.

"Getting our country back on track," is the core theme of the speech, said Obama Press Secretary Rob Gibbs, adding that the president-elect wrote the bulk of it as it is now.

Oppression will probably play a large part, but maybe the word will be an undercurrent. It resounds too much of Black Liberation Theology, a note that Obama is not ready to hit, just yet.
::::::::::::
I am confident that no matter what fraudulent label this arrogant Marxist tries to put on “responsibility” it will ALWAYS distill down to taking wealth and liberties from individuals and corporations TO BUY POWER and control. That wealth will go to where ever and to whomever necessary to accomplish that goal. Marxists fool nobody. They are what they are. The real measure confirming this opinion will be watching how much POSITIVE GOOD THAT THIS ADMINISTRATION DOES FOR THE AMERICAN CITIZEN, the individual and the economy and America AS A WHOLE.

My guess is that the lame excuse of “well, it will take a long time to correct” will be used as a lie to just allow them to move forward with their socialism agenda, which will do nothing for the country...only the socialist government.

Sounds like the kind of “responsibility” that Uncle Joe Stalin would’ve talked about.

How about being responsible for paying your taxes? How about appointing cabinet positions to responsible people that pay their taxes? Lead by example Hussein.

From the productive and responsible, more will be required.

To the indolent and parasitic, more will be given.

From sea to Kenyan sea, the trains will run on time.

Obamacorns don’t want to hear words like sacrifice and responsibility.

Sure they do, just as long as they aren't the ones having to sacrifice and be responsible.

Interesting you mention that. Was discussing the history of Stalin during WW2 and how FDR suckered for him, much to the disdain and hate of Churchill who knew exactly what Stalin was. FDR, the flaming socialist and liberal, refused to believe that Stalin was a horrifying disaster waiting to happen upon his people, as he did. I would look upon Churchill as our conservative, informed sector, and FDR as our blind liberal sector. Interesting parallel. History does repeat itself, sadly.

Responsibility.... such a hefty word. As in ...... 150 milion dollar inauguration ceremony? That’s responsible? I’m just trying to understand the correct meaning of the word.

Democrats don’t care about responsibility. They care about free entitlements, free money and government assistance. If Obama is going to preach responsibility as his theme it will fall on deaf ears to those seeking a free handout instead.

Chief among Obama’s avenues of change seems to be the definition of words, including the “Declaration of Independence,” “freedom,” and “responsibility.” He has been introduced these words this weekend, in order to redefine them for the ignorant masses and implement an increasingly socialist/totalitarian government.

Up next: Crimethink and the Fairness Doctrine.

Responsibility huh?

Mr. 0bama...when you have the responsibility to show the world your true credentials of eligibility being president of any country other than Kenya, then, we'll talk.

Also, you'll need to explain to those you are charging with this burden of responsibility as to how responsible you were in your past relationships and associations. We would also like to know why you have sealed your B.C. and put a gag order on your kenyan relatives?

How responsible are you in letting your brother in Kenya live on 10-bucks a year, and your aunt live in the U.S. illegally for years?

How about your waiting for over a month to pay homage to the white woman who raised and nurtured you; the one you threw under the bus and put on ice after she died until you could find a break in your partying?

In other words, "Walk your talk...or shuttup."

No self-responsibility, but responsibility dished out through the self righteous hand of the government.

Not for him, silly for YOU!! You are responsible to give your money and lives to the the government so they can tell you (being responsible and all) how to live and who to give your stuff to because YOU don’t need it, YOU have too much already!!

/sarc (sort of)...we’re in trouble big time...

Exactly. Certainly not voluntary, but FORCED by a corrupt and oppressive government. Welcome to the specter of Marxism and self-empowering government.

Ther's a flow chart formimg in my head I can't quite see yet, but it is on the lines of reduce the normal and literate and increase the abnormal and illiterate.

Rod Serling produced a show about that, and as I look over a number or areas that could produce heroes and figures to emulate, what is proffered (though talented) is also (remember, I said I can't quite see it yet) someone that is not in the idealist image of American.

Rappers, wrestlers and wranglers are stepping all over themselves to be in a commercial or on a news/talk show to reveal how normal they are, what good causes they promote and how clear and intelligently they speak.

Zero has this psychology down, and America still watches WWF and American Idol and Survivor.

I heard a caller to a talk radio say yesterday that he compared zero to Nero and as I consider the blasphemy being foisted on America in 48 hours ... the image doesn't fall to far amiss.

"Obviously the American people are all going to have to give some," Gibbs added, noting that the address will also try to stress that "those that have had the short end of the stick for the last few years (will) get the help that they need." Bye bye America...we hardly knew ya.

The Dems have Chutzpah, that’s for sure

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Barack Obama will call on Americans to replace the “anything goes” culture of recent years with a new “era of responsibility” in his inaugural address on Tuesday, top aides said Sunday.

The president-elect penned most of the historic speech just a week ago, crafting an address that will be “heavily infused with this notion of responsibility and getting our country back on track,” spokesman Robert Gibbs told “Fox News Sunday.”

Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s selection as chief of staff, said the inaugural address of the first African-American president, would stress the need to create “an era of responsibility” in the place of what has too long “been a culture of anything goes.”

“We need that culture of responsibility, not just to be asked of the American people, but its leaders must also lead by example,” Emanuel said on NBC’s’”Meet the Press” program.

He said Obama would call on Americans to “once again restore a value system that respects and honors fiscal responsibility, and we all have something to give to our country and have an obligation to do that to return it to its greatness.”
