Crowds flock to National Mall for inaugural concert ("We Are One"

Thousands were descending on the National Mall in Washington on Sunday afternoon, hours before a free inaugural concert boasting big stars.

It is President-elect Barack Obama's first full day back in the nation's capital. He spent the morning visiting Arlington National Cemetery and will later attend the "We are One: Opening Inaugural Celebration" at the Lincoln Memorial featuring performances by Beyonce, Sheryl Crow, John Legend, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, U2, will.i.am and Stevie Wonder.

Tears rolled down one woman's face as Obama spoke. "We love you, Obama!" someone yelled out.

"I love you back," Obama answered calmly, eliciting a roar from the crowd.

"You know the country is in the middle of a honeymoon when 6 in 10 Republicans have a positive view of Obama," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

This Republican wouldn’t spit on Fuhrer Obama if he were on fire.

(When speaking to Libs directly, I usually chose a more colorful word than “spit” but this is a family website)

The guy gets a little over 50% of the vote and now “we’re all one”?
How come we weren’t “all one” after Pres. Bush’s election?

“6 in 10 Republicans have a positive view of Obama”

Ok, I think I’m going to vomit now! What is our nation coming to???

We are certainly not “one.” Obama, to the liberals, may be “The One,” but he’s definitely NOT “The One” to me! Sorry, that honor is reserved for Jesus Christ.

I think all of us on FR can agree that we will NEVER bow down and worship Obama!

Americans giving Obama extraordinary support: polls (79% optimistic!)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2166990/posts

“79 percent were optimistic about the next four years under Obama”

The other 21% will be too, after a few weeks in reeducation camps — I guess you didn’t get the memo. (/sarc)

“You know the country is in the middle of a honeymoon when 6 in 10 Republicans have a positive view of Obama,” said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.
::::::::::
Now let us parse this with sensibility. First, most Republicans are scared to death of what this Marxist is going to do and try to do. His election was the worst thing that could have happened to America, especially at this moment in history. Secondly, CNN, the Communist News Network, lies about everything and every poll they take in the sense you can make any poll say anything you want it to. They will support the election of Obama until CNN goes out of business.

The MSM will put this fraud on a pedestal no matter how bad, how corrupt, how dishonest, how anti-American, how anti-Constitution, how anti-capitalist, and how damaging overall he is to America, and especially the American INDIVIDUAL that produces the GDP and pays all the taxes in this country. The horrid result will be someone else’s fault — ALWAYS.

I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees, praying to the god Obama.
And when did a prez elect ever have a approval rating before he took office.
Is it me, or is this getting freaky?
