Al Qaeda hit by Black Death fear as medieval plague kills 40 terrorists at training camp

Al Qaeda terrorists have been left fearing the Black Death plague after it wiped out at least 40 insurgents at an Algerian training camp, it was reported today. The horror disease, which killed 25 million people in medieval Europe, is understood to have been found in a militant’s body dumped at a roadside. Terror group AQLIM (al Qaeda in the Land of the Islamic Maghreb) was forced to turn its shelter in the Yakouren forests into mass graves and flee, it has been claimed.

Now al Qaeda chiefs are said to fear the plague has been passed into other cells - and possibly Taliban fighters in Afghanistan. Many insurgents may choose to surrender for treatment rather than die a horrible death. ‘This is the deadliest weapon yet in the war against terror,’ a security source told The Sun: ‘Most of the terrorists do not have the basic medical supplies needed to treat the disease. ‘It spreads quickly and kills within hours. This will be really worrying al-Qaeda.’

Oh yeah, and it’s endemic among fleas in the Western US. US soldiers are recruited from these endemic areas because of their natural resistance to plague through low-level exposure since childhood. And they’re all pork-eating savages who love dogs.

No idea on how long it lasts either. On the other hand if you've ever discovered (through a variety of means) that you are naturally immune or resistant to cholera, diptheria, AIDS, and a couple of other diseases you are probably also immune to the plague.

There are several theories about why these diseases are unable to attack certain people, but nothing has yet been proven.

I had read about it somewhere.

The dog runs off and gets fleas that were living on prarie dogs that carry the disease, and then the dog comes home and the fleas infect the owner.

Interesting thoughts ~ are you perhaps immune to cholera?

Flee before a flea. Such power they have.

**So now we know for sure that they’re playing with some pretty potent bio stuff???**

Good point. That they're doing it to themselves makes more sense than that it's us... Wonder what else they've got up their sleeves.

Wonder if Nancy Pelosi will be addressing this issue today before the coronation of her Liberal God? Anyone know if Liberals will be sending a medical team in to help Al Qaeda? I’m sure Pelosi and Reid feel their pain.

Obama will surely have a moment of silence for these freedom fighters tomorrow during the inauguration.

Couldn't happen to a nice bunch of guys. and Black Plague is a STUPID bioweapon to use considering that we can innoculate and pretty much cure it in the USA.

Hanta virus on the other hand.

I am sure that Nazi Pelosi, the dems and the media will use this in their upcoming ‘War Crime’ trials against President Bush. (eye roll)

I saw a room almost 100 yards long that had the biggest mosquito rearing tanks I have ever seen.. It was in Arkansas in the ‘70’s . The stuff was used to breed and infect the critters with “stuff” and spray them out over the enemy.. Don’t think it was ever used and it was taken apartwhile I was there. I know because I had a contract on site for the what Now known as NCTR( National center for toxicology research) Just outside of Little rock. Anything like this is possible to cause. saves bullets.

The most likely way for AQ to attack w/ bioweapons is to smuggle in a microscopic sample of bubonic plague or anthrax. They culture it in fermentation containers, e.g, jars, and then spray it after dark as an aersol over a city. That way it becomes pneumonic plague and kills so fast that massive doses of antibiotic cannot save the victims. Note that sunlight kills the live bugs. Remember that the 9/11 terrorists tried to rent a crop spraying plane. Watch for terrorist types taking large doses of antibiotic which are required to prevent their own death while brewing the culture.

‘I wonder how their recruiting is doing??’

I wonder if some of this story is being built up to do just that; scare some to seek medical treatment and to cut down on the recruitment rate.

This is a critical reason for closing up our borders, controlling the stem of immigration into our country, and reinstating health-checks before admittance.

--------------------------

Thanks for your incredibly important words of reminder. TB and other diseases continue to re-appear in the U.S.

Australia has one of the most compassionate, liberal and legal immigration policies in the world. (I am not going to research this morning, but I think I heard on the BBC that it is the country allowing more people in than any other country in the world, that is, if you are considering LEGAL immigrants.) Of course their borders are much more easy to control. Grin. Nonetheless they get lots of flack for their policies. Why? Because they screen for disease and criminal history, and because they deport illegals.

Funny how when we have something to learn from other countries, its always Canada's health care system (Gag) or Europe's liberal attitudes about sexuality, never Australia's immigration policy.
