Yes, the noose is still included.
For those who already have the Obama hope poster, the McCain maverick button and the Joe the Plumber T-shirt, there is one more kitsch - though more controversial - item for the comprehensive 2008 presidential campaign collection: the Sarah Palin effigy that caused a bit of an uproar outside one West Hollywood home and prompted Keith Olbermann to name the homeowner Worst Person in the World.
Chad Michael Morrisette, a professional window-display designer, and his partner, Mito Aviles, put the Palin mannequin up for auction on eBay last week, complete with red coat, beehive wig, glasses -- and with a noose still hanging around its neck.
The auction was supposed to end Tuesday - Inauguration Day. But on Sunday night, eBay took down the posting.
The site did not give any specific reason but referred the couple to its policy on offensive material, which says, "Sellers may not list items that promote or glorify hatred, violence, racial or religious intolerance, or items that promote organizations with such views."
"And I think they were putting it in that category because of the history of lynching, Morrisette said. We think it was the noose in the picture that they deemed as glorified hatred, Aviles wrote in an e-mail.
The item was relisted with a new picture of the mannequin sans noose, though the hanging accessory will still be included with the purchase. Morrisette worried that having to relist the auction, which will now end on Wednesday, might have lost some of the initial interest in the item.
Before it was removed Sunday, the auction page had more than 900 views, and 40 people were keeping track of it, he said.

Disgusting - this is why I question where morals, ethics and principles have gone in this country.
A coupl'a hate-filled socialist girlymen.
Good for Ebay!
I might send them a note of thanks!
Don’t they mean that Olberwomann named the guy the Best Person in the World.
The gays who originally produced this hate piece have relisted the item on Ebay.

A couple of gays filled with hate.
i think that Uber-man was misquoted. certainly uber-man meant President Bush.
I'm a lot more shocked about this than what ebay did
Who knew Keith Olbermann has TWO brain cells to function enough to do the right thing and condemn this act !
I live close by “The Village” in Hollywood and my neighbors even said these “tolerant” gays pick on the parking enforcement people. No wonder I was so happy hearing them cry while walking my dog after election night..
I hope it gets lots of fake bids.
filled with hate....and other implements....
Here was the first posting I saw about this topic:
As soon as I saw the item on ebay, I sent the lister a question about what he was trying to prove with an item that incites hate and violence.
I then reported the item to the ebay community forum and said the the item violated rules for listing items that incite violence.
If you are an ebay user, I would urge you to report ANY left wing crap like this that you see on ebay.
Just a couple of homos’ idea of a slick way to pan off an out of date ladies coat for a wad of money.
The mannequin sure doesn’t look much like Sarah.
I try to calm myself that it was all foretold to happen this way-I won’t be surprised to hear of murderous sports or executions, and sex acts on regular television before I die-but when I hear of specific incidents I still start getting angry, mostly because even good people have become impotent to influence the culture in any real way, and all I can do is try to keep my own life and that of my family separate from it all. At this point, I want a divorce from American culture.
I wonder how funny the leftists would think it was if it had been an obama effigy they were lynching?
A sign of the depravity that has infected our culture.
