Medved pimped for Schwarzenegger over McClintock. That’s pretty much all you need to know about him.

The TRUTH has a way of coming to light, eventually.
There is no good reason Zero has hidden the BC he says he has sealed in Hawaii. It’s hidden from the electorate by his protectors in the gov’t.

The Sheeple don’t know that his Hawaii BC means nothing. They handed them out to foreign born babies with one Hawaiian resident parent. It does not prove he was born IN Hawaii.

95% of the country has no interest in, or knowledge of, this natural born issue, because they are ignorant or don’t give a damn about our own Constitution.

The public schools don’t teach about The Constitution anymore! The libs got the country right where they wanted it all these years...too uneducated to know you have to be born on American soil to be president.

If Zero were natural born, he’d have shoved a real long form US COLB into plain view a long time ago. He is acting gulity as sin. The truth will come out someday.

me too, Medved is hypervigilant on his opinions- cuts to commercials when caller COULD disagree with him.
When I used to listen him he would make my blood boil to the point I’d have to turn him off that’s when I realized it’s not only his schtick, he takes PRIDE in his schitck .
He ‘s the male version of Dr. Laura (wow , another true wacko)
don’t get me wrong - i’m conservative at heart but Medved is in it only for himself. In a past life he reviewed films.

Have you ever been to his website? OMG-! it’s SOOOOOO ALLL MEDVED- makes me puke he is so inLUVwidhisliddleself.

You said — “All should agree that it is unacceptable that none of our states check the qualifications of presidential nominees.”

Amen on that one. Get your state to enact a state law requiring specific documentation for a Presidential Candidate. This will stop it from happening in any future election. Oklahoma is working on that one right now. I’ll be contacting the legislators when the session opens (next month).

And lastly you said — “All that is required of major party candidates is a statement that they are qualified.”

That’s the problem, in a nutshell and that’s the “huge loophole” that an unqualified candidate can use. The candidate is then considered “qualified” and he doesn’t have to do anything else.

And hence, the need for the state laws...

I listened to an hour or so of Medved during the primaries defending Captain Queeg and trying to tell his audience that McCain was a conservative. I decided at that moment that Medved was a tool and haven’t listened to a word since.

What do you base that on?

It's based on a couple of things. Do some research in the Obamafiles here. I also heard a Constitutional Lawyer/Professor give a talk on it. Impeachment would not apply in a case like this, it would only require the SCOTUS determining he was not eligible to even run for the office and he would be "removed". The election would be void, every law he signed, treaty he made, etc. would also be void.

Where is the evidence that he was born anywhere else but Hawaii? Evidence, not speculation.

You said — “Sorry, but he’s not proven to anyone that he’s a natural born citizen. Someone saying in a document that he is a natural born citizen is not the same thing as his proving it. See the difference?”

Yes, I *know* he hasn’t proven it. I said that before the election, too. And yes, I know that simply saying something doesn’t make it true (as I see of some of these statements on Free Republic). And so, yes, I see the difference.

NOW..., having said that — Obama and any other Presidential Candidate has not been required to “prove it”. And thus, there’s the big loophole.

So, do you see the difference?

That’s the real question...

It’s an interesting Catch 22, isn’t it?

1. There is no documentary evidence that Obama is not qualified.

2. Obama’s birth certificate would answer the question of qualification.

3. If the birth certificate shows Obama is not qualified, he would be guilty of fraud.

4. Obama is the only one who can release the birth certificate.

5. The Fifth Amendment states that a man cannot be forced to incriminate himself.

The End (It would appear).

Oh yeah, he was appeasing the usurper. As if to say, "screw the constitution, it's been too long to bring a challenge," or "he had a Passport!, he ran for Illinois senate!, the U.S. Senate!", as if these things render him a naturalized citizen.

I can't stand Michael Medved. I don't like his movie reviews. But most of all, his turncoat tendancies toward conservatives are most appalling. He needs to live within rocket distance to Gazans who celebrate Independence Day whenever they feel like it- and I'm not talking bottlerockets.

Educated and stupid seem to go hand-in-hand these days (as they always have). He probably gets his liberal side from his mother. He should have his estrogen checked.

As we've seen with the Clinton impeachment, removing a President is a political process, just as electing a president is a political process.

As we're seeing now, Democrat party politics is driving them to turn a blind eye to Obama's qualifications, and a battered GOP is doing nothing to stop it. That's politics.

Impeaching Obama for political crimes (high crimes and misdemeanors) is not based on the legalities of his qualifications, nor the legalities of the documents that he has offered as proof. Removing him from office is a political event. Once out of office, people can try to convict him on the crime of document fraud.

That's how I see it, anyway.

You said — “That’s how I see it, anyway.”

Good luck trying to convince those on Free Republic who wrote the Constitution... :-)

[ At least I admitted I didn’t write the Constitution, but I do know that our leaders will “follow it” regarding Impeachment... ]

Yes, that’s a valid assessment of the situation...

And, a good reason for those state laws vetting the candidate...

This birth certificate conspiracy is a joke! I haven’t seen so much wasted energy on anything since support for the McCain/Palin campaign.

4. Obama is the only one who can release the birth certificate.

Actually, the original "vault" certificate is property of the State of Hawaii, not Obama. Only the state can be compelled to release it.
