Freep This Thank You G. W. Bush Site!!!
www.mission1accomplished.com ^ | 01/20/09 | Müllerhaus Communications

A friend of mine created this site as a way to say thank you to George W. Bush for doing hard things and taking the heat for keeping America safe from terrorism after the 9/11 attacks.

http://www.mission1accomplished.com/

The site has counter that only counts your thank you one time, so please send your e-friends to the site to click the thank you button. They also have a place where you can leave a message. He's saving the messages and wants to present them to W.'s Presidential Library on September 11, 2011.

“Mission Accomplished” was an apropos banner, intended to boost morale of the faithful. It wasn’t meant to summarize the battle against terror or the stabilization of Iraq. But the press, the fourth estate, behaved as a fifth column. They twisted the phrase out of context, ignoring President Bush’s many expressions of warning that defeating terrorism would take years. Once they had redefined the context, they plunged it like a knife again and again into the presidency, and into the cause of freedom.

I am in full contempt of the press. With Bush, they selected the bad and omitted the good.

They have what they think they want now, and will defend the new order with all the selectivity and omission of truth that they practice so well, but this time they will be selecting the good and omitting the bad. And the bad, I’m afraid, will be monumental in the grand scheme of things.

I truly hope your friend removes the hateful comments that will be posted by the short-sighted moonbats.

Thank you for not caving to the craven leftists in congress. Thank you fighting the Islamic Terrorist on their turf, not ours.

Unfortunately, you have left the conservative cause in a mess. I hold you responisble for giving us Obama and all the problems that will surely follow. Thanks again.

The comments will be posted by a human editor; the garbage comments will go into the circular file.

Freeped it.

The truth wills out in the end. Bush will be judged favorably.

He is the end of an era.

Last chance to Thank President Bush for all the things he has left us!

Let's see, we can thank him for a partially nationalized banking system and auto industry, a badly degraded military due to a badly mismanaged war, wide-open borders, and millions of new illegal aliens living amoungst us. That about covers it.

Yeah, Bushie, thanks for nothing.

Oh, wait, I forgot. He did give us two solid supreme court justices. I'll give him that. But otherwise, I'd rate his presidency as a nearly complete, unmitigated disaster, both for the country and for the conservative movement.

I disagree. The fourth estate gave us Obama. (And now, the fifth column is in the wings).

I sent one yesterday through a link someone here provided.

Thanks for your Farewell Note to President George W. Bush

I'll deliver the letters on January 20th—sorry, I can't deliver any letters sent after 6:00 PM ET on January 19th. Karl Rove

How 'bout that?!
