Obama is still attacking Bush
The White House ^ | 20-Jan-2009 | Obama

Posted on 01/20/2009 6:52:23 PM PST by Sgt_Schultze

Katrina

President Obama will keep the broken promises made by President Bush to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. He and Vice President Biden will take steps to ensure that the federal government will never again allow such catastrophic failures in emergency planning and response to occur.

President Obama swiftly responded to Hurricane Katrina. Citing the Bush Administration's "unconscionable ineptitude" in responding to Hurricane Katrina, then-Senator Obama introduced legislation requiring disaster planners to take into account the specific needs of low-income hurricane victims. Obama visited thousands of Hurricane survivors in the Houston Convention Center and later took three more trips to the region. He worked with members of the Congressional Black Caucus to introduce legislation to address the immediate income, employment, business, and housing needs of Gulf Coast communities.

President Barack Obama will partner with the people of the Gulf Coast to rebuild now, stronger than ever.

What a petulent little clod.

Today is the first day of this loser's administration. His accountability for everything that happens during this administration begins today.

He’s a paranoid little Chicago thug. He’ll be attacking Bush, Sarah and Trig Palin and Dick Cheney for the next for years. We need to get used to it. Every mistake the “messiah” makes will be Bush’s fault.

Isn’t New Orleans below sea level? What’s O going to do to fix that? Isn’t the Mississippi coast almost completely rebuilt?

As much as I detest this guy, I have to think that the wording of this (”broken promises of the Bush administration”) is a direct reflection of the shockingly - but not unexpected - vitriolic corp that is now part of this new administration. I hope that Obama removes this wording.

I don’t recall obama ever actually visiting LA or MS. Not saying he didn’t, but I don’t recall it and it didn’t have any impact if he did. President Bush on the other hand has been here many times.

Sorry, P.O., YOU are now the one to get blamed. Get over it. President Bush has paid his dues and put up with crap from the media long enough.

There is more to it than just classlessness, although that’s definitely a big factor. The Obama admin along with the media will not let Bush be forgotten easily. The longer the memories of Bush are kept alive, the longer they can continue to blame Bush for all their screwups. And there are plenty of them coming..

This is the OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE GOVERNMENT SITE.

No, it’s not satire.

The whole next four years will seem like satire though.

If I were you, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for him to take off these words. No way someone put them up without his knowledge.

For this type of politicized wording to be part of the official White House website, is schockingly unreal. So totally ‘un-Presidential’.

The link takes you to the White House website. So it is not satire.

I suppose the only answer to your question is ... yes.
