I’m the age of most of those in the movies...when I was a kid, the movie was entertaining...as an adult, it is scary and...damned near plausible!

You have an excellent point. Red Dawn was a very popular movie. in fact, just a couple weeks ago i got it out on yet another bad tv night.
Shouting out wolverines has a very uplifting ring.
