Change Has Come
This is repulsive to say the least. When Bill Clinton had the White House full of incompetent interns I thought that was bad, but read this and its entirely clear that Barrack Hussein Obama and his entire administration are staffed by imbeciles. God help us all.
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at 12:01 pm Change has come to WhiteHouse.gov
Welcome to the new WhiteHouse.gov. I'm Macon Phillips, the Director of New Media for the White House and one of the people who will be contributing to the blog.
A short time ago, Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th president of the United States and his new administration officially came to life. One of the first changes is the White House's new website, which will serve as a place for the President and his administration to connect with the rest of the nation and the world.
Millions of Americans have powered President Obama's journey to the White House, many taking advantage of the internet to play a role in shaping our country's future. WhiteHouse.gov is just the beginning of the new administration's efforts to expand and deepen this online engagement.
Just like your new government, WhiteHouse.gov and the rest of the Administration's online programs will put citizens first. Our initial new media efforts will center around three priorities:
Communication -- Americans are eager for information about the state of the economy, national security and a host of other issues. This site will feature timely and in-depth content meant to keep everyone up-to-date and educated. Check out the briefing room, keep tabs on the blog (RSS feed) and take a moment to sign up for e-mail updates from the President and his administration so you can be sure to know about major announcements and decisions.
Transparency -- President Obama has committed to making his administration the most open and transparent in history, and WhiteHouse.gov will play a major role in delivering on that promise. The President's executive orders and proclamations will be published for everyone to review, and thats just the beginning of our efforts to provide a window for all Americans into the business of the government. You can also learn about some of the senior leadership in the new administration and about the Presidents policy priorities.
Participation -- President Obama started his career as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago, where he saw firsthand what people can do when they come together for a common cause. Citizen participation will be a priority for the Administration, and the internet will play an important role in that. One significant addition to WhiteHouse.gov reflects a campaign promise from the President: we will publish all non-emergency legislation to the website for five days, and allow the public to review and comment before the President signs it.
We'd also like to hear from you -- what sort of things would you find valuable from WhiteHouse.gov? If you have an idea, use this form to let us know. Like the transition website and the campaign's before that, this online community will continue to be a work in progress as we develop new features and content for you. So thanks in advance for your patience and for your feedback.
Later today, well put up the video and the full text of President Obamas Inaugural Address. There will also be slideshows of the Inaugural events, the Obamas move into the White House, and President Obamas first days in office.
This is just more see through stupid marketing. Obama does something showy like this web page and everyone falls for it and then he proceeds with his left wing insanity (appointing Gates then lots of liberal lunatics once the right fell for it) THEY CONTROL the content. Is anyone silly enough to really think this is serious. Adolph Obama wouldn’t even let negative comments on his you tube page. This is scary . He is a slick marketing campaign that all the stupid Americans are falling for as they march like sheep to the slaughter
Here here or is it hear hear? Otherwise all good points! as old time freeps used to say BUMP!
I never thought I would see the day where people on this site would actually miss the Clinton years!
Oh that was Reconciliation alright.... when they were all chanting obscenities at Bush! It was disgusting to see that not only did they have no class but totally incapable of respecting anyone.
huh? who said anything about clinton?
Yep, Obama will claim he has royal blood from some other country (since America was not built on royalty)so that should make him eligible to be King.
Can you believe all these people or snobs I should say haven’t the slightest idea why America came into being?
ping
I'm sure we can rely on POTUS MUZZIE HUSSEIN and his cabal of minor league propagandists to provide the straight skinny.
This will not end well.
For them.
A little over the top. Let's take one at a time:
1. "Freedoms". They have been going away for a century, but there is some growing grassroots efforts that are ready to fight in the courts and fight on the streets;
2. "Money". Well, that depends on what you do and how much you've saved and how well you've manages your finances. Also, depends on what the Feds do to inject liquidity with your tax dollars. Personally, I think it will be the FDR "Real Deal" failure once again. I'm okay with certain institutions failing.
3. "Religion". That's a personal concern.
4. "Jobs". I have no answer to that other than the world economy turning around, and possibly working your ass off.
5. "Loved ones". That's up to you. You deal with them how you may. It should never have anything to do with political/economic issues. You don't need stuff to be kind to those who are close to you.
So here is my simple take on your points, from an old guy who has seen alot.
We ALL die in the end. Some of us try to make a difference. Sometimes we succeed - sometimes we fail.
What I'm trying to suggest is that as much as you may care about the above, it's always about how much you tried to do good for your cause and/or your loved ones. That is the trial of a good man. Best of luck to you...
Let’s be discerning. Obama’s administration may be a big threat to our liberties. And the fact that he voted no on Roberts and supported a filibuster of Alito doesn’t bode well for our Courts.
But there’s nothing wrong with what he has done with the website, at least what you put here. The Democrats are trying to outsmart the Repub’s. Don’t let them. If all we do it complain, they just might.
While I’m at it, why didn’t the Republicans specifically try to get more of the Black and Latino vote this time? I don’t mean by pandering—by promoting Democrat-ish big spending—but by going to all the churches, community centers and workplaces and arguing that our policies are better for ALL Americans. Until we do that, we will probably not get the Presidency back. Demographics are working against us.
The same type of people that voted for Franken(stein).
CHANGE, I want dollars, mo dollars. LOL
You might want to edit that image...
Barack Hussein Opaque is going to make the government transparent? This must be 1984’s Ministry of Truth.
Doom and destruction are the lazy man’s way to the easy chair.
Apparently, its this sparkling chap. Let’s not forget his name, as it may be valuable to us in the future and is no longer mentioned on the Whitehouse.gov website.
If the link doesn’t work for you, visit http://linkedin.com and enter MACON PHILLIPS. Google will work as well. Enjoy.
And its also now apparent that this is the company responsible for the fraudulent fundrasing for Obama’s campaign website. I don’t have enough time to follow all the links so please help me out. This is some good investigation, and I expect the links to dry up soon as Obama’s people are slowly restricted from freedom of outside contact and public statements.
