If Rush is right, and he usually is, then Mike Barnicle believes that Rush and/or his listeners represent a clear and present danger to Pres. Obama justifying extraordinary security measures.
An argument broke out on Morning Joe today over the very restrictive measures adopted for the inaugural. Tucker Carlson, ever the libertarian, led the charge on behalf of an approach less intrusive on the right of citizens to circulate. Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanan generally sided with Tucker, with Joe recounting the story of how when policemen tried to stop him, then a sitting congressman, from entering the Capitol during the 2001 inaugural, he plowed ahead and told them they’d have to shoot him.
Arrayed on the other side was Barnicle, and Mika Brzezinski who accused Carlson and company of being “hypocrites.” Then came the exchange wherein Barnicle took his shot at the dangerous denizens of talk radio . . .

I guess Barnicle didn't get the message that the major threats coming out of yesterday's events were from Somali muslims. I don't know any of those who are doing talk radio in the U.S. these days.

I just picked up the “Turner Diaries”.
The preface to the book said that he was making sure that it was published in order to warn people that there are violent, gun-toating racists out there just like “The Organization” and Turner himself.
In reading only a few pages into the book, I do indeed see it as a warning. A warning about an overreaching government intent on total control of the populace, and using government to exact racial vengeance.

....if you were interested in The Turner Diaries then check out “Civil War Two: The Coming Breakup of America” by Thomas W. Chittum.....it’s non fiction and observes that racial/ethnic based wars of separation and partition are occuring globally and will come here too...in other words, race war will fracture the nation into separate countries
.....the book is getting hard to find in print but was available on the internet last time I looked.
And what of the last 8 yrs.(actually more like 9 with the campaign) of hate mongering by these scumbags toward Bush. They pushed nothing but nonstop attacks and hate at President Bush and jokes, questions of why hasn’t he and movies about his assassination. All out war as far as I’m concerned and conservatives need to take to the street when this starts to go to inevitable censorship.

It takes a special kind of derangement to go so far as to make some of those props. That’s not just simple difference of opinion, that’s downright mental illness.
