Sacramento, CA (AP) -- California's attorney general is asking a federal appeals court to block what he describes as an extravagant spending proposal for prison medical facilities.

The Legislature has refused to act on the request for $8 billion made by the court-appointed receiver overseeing reform of California's prison health care system. The receiver is seeking an immediate $250 million as a down payment. . . .

I could fix that whole problem with $25 million and a couple of charter 747’s

They could close 10 prisons after all the illegal scum were returned to their home hell-holes.

I listened to a caller on a radio talk show recently and he said that when a prisoner in CA needs a prescription, it is the policy that they cannot be given a generic drug, costing much more money plus most prison doctors don’t want to treat them and just look at them and send them off to the local hospital which requires 3 guards, again costing a fortune.

Hey , c’mon!!!! It’s Mexifornia. A billion here and a billion there and pretty soon it adds up to real money.

For a state that is already $30 or $40 billion IN DEBT, what’s $8 billion more??

Besides, “Surf’s UP, dudes!!!!”

NOW is the time to OUTSOURCE our criminals for detention..

I'd bet we could get them “housed/fed/medicated” in a Turd World Hell hole for about $1,000 a head per year..

We're currently spending about $35,000 - NOT counting the insane adder we're facing to provide 1st class medical/dental care while the bastards are incarcerated.

This is by FAR a bigger bang for our bucks than our government pukes will ever come up with...... Also - think of all the taxpayer funded pension, benefits and perks for civil servant guards/clerks that could be avoided...
