I saw that too and I was very disappointed that it was left there. I thought it was a very beautiful rug and I wanted Bush to take it as a special piece of the WH that could be his for the rest of his life.

With the millions and millions spent on the extravaganza, one would think 0bama would have set aside funds for his own rug..have it in like colors if that is what switches him on but this rug belongs in the GWB Library. Maybe we should all protest...President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush have set a tone for civility and courtesy that the DemocRATS will never ever be able to match.
And yet they were treated on the 20th with unbelievable disrespect and since the departure it has not let up. This man and his lovely wife have huge shoulders to bear this kind of unrelenting insults day in and day out.
