According to TSO who was at the “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball”, this newly sworn-in President for the first time in 56 years blew off the ball (that’s 14 Inaugurations). TSO is one of the Mil-bloggers at "This Ain't Hell". A tradition for over a half century until "The Loser" with his nose in the air snubbed the Medal of Honor winners.

FREEP and DU are opposite ends of the spectrum..and the TRUTH lies somewhere in between.....
and anytime you’d like to discuss Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld’s “reverence” for the military..such as their total lack of planning for Phase IV in the post Saddam environment...and guys rumaging thru junk piles in Iraq for steel plate to up - armor our HumVees...well...go right ahead.

Obama blows off the military. Oh, at first I thought it was Obama does blow. I thought he had relapsed.
We are in an alternate reality where truth is made into lies and lies into truth. Sad. This is not the way things should be.
In the Free Republic tradition of acronyms such as BTTT (Bump To The Top), TTIUWOP (This Thread Is Useless WithOut Pictures), and IBTZ (In Before The Zot), I offer a new one whenever some action like this from the Pres__ent (no ID) happens:

A more directed slam on the military happened in Obambi’s first day in office: (1) Suspended Trials for ALL Captured Gitmo Terrorists and (2) Wants Open Gays to serve in the Military.
He is a direct threat to the future of our military power.
I saw the dancing at the CIC ball this morning on GMA. I noticed they found a short Marine to dance with Michelle so that she could tower over him looking like an Amazon taking on a 12 yo boy. (No offense to the young Marine. I come from a Marine family and I’m short, so I’m not prejudiced against either.:))
Of course you saw the dancing on GMA, as I said, the Zero has nothing to do with the military unless a photo op is involved.
Oh yeah, and why wouldn’t they get a taller marine for her to dance with? I mean nothing wrong with short people, I’m only 5’0”, but it seems a little demeaning intentionally. Maybe not, but just how it would seem.

Mitchell Paige (USMC, Guadalcanal...pics at bottom of my FReep page) told me he boycotted Clinton’s second inaugural because he despised him so much.
Well, you might like our humor and comments, but rarely will you see the vulgar, hateful language and comments on Conservative forums that you see on DU, HuffingtonPost, KOS, etc.
