While none of us can be faulting for overindulging this week, for one reputed journalist--one flask of HopieChangie just wasn't enough. Courtesy of Gawker.com, Diane Sawyer has been awarded the Oscar for "Drunkest Former Nixon Staffer." Check out the attached video...which brings new meaning to a "media hangover."

I didn't watch all of the video...too embarrassed for her. I've never been drunk, but I've been sober around a lot of people who were drunk. She was drunk.
Perhaps it took less to get her drunk because of having been awake and working so many hours, but....

I remember all of 1969...it began at university in the Lambda Chi house and ended in the uniform of a United States Marine. Kind of a transformative year, in many ways.
