Its a see of brown as far as the eye can see. I heard one estimate that there may not be any living pine trees along the front range within a couple of years. I am dreading the fire that will go through all that dead wood in some highly populated areas.

Why can't I roast my Chestnuts over an open fire anymore? It must be that more than a century ago Global Warming destroyed the Chestnut trees.
