Are you OK?
Did you feel it?
Everything OK at your place?
I heard about this on Fox News. As someone who went through the Northridge quake back in 1994 earthquakes scare the holy hell outta me. I wasn’t aware that Alaska suffers from as many earthquakes as us Californians. I hope that everyone is safe over there
Prayers up. Not seeing anything on cable news yet...

Hope Gov. Palin and her family are ok.
Ya’ll okay?........
She probably felt it since she is not that far from Anchorage(I believe Wasilla is a half an hour drive from Anchorage) I have heard no reports of injuries. WOW so California and Alaska do have something in common, I was not aware of the many earthquakes Alaska has daily, last night we had one here in Marina Del Rey(a small one) but I did not feel it. Looks like a new fault line
Tremors are a daily occurrence in Alaska. :)
160 miles from Anchorage, it seems to have not affected too many people.
Kathy, please check in!
stand tall Alaska. Our prayers are with you.
My good friend is on a cruise ship somewhere in Alaska. Wonder if they can feel an earthquake on one of those monsters?
6.1 quake rattles Southcentral

Anchorage Daily News
quake felt in Anchorage 160 miles away, quake was below Cook Inlet
No Tsunami Alert!
Wonder when Obama H is going to show up ?
Wonder when Obama H is going to show up ?
I felt that one, it was only a 3.2 though; it seemed short too - a couple seconds and it was over.
Wonder when Obama H is going to show up ?
Where is FEMA? Why aren’t they already handing out checks and trailers?
Barack Obama doesn’t care about Eskimo people.
Wonder when Obama H is going to show up ?
Obama and the media don’t even consider Alaska part of the United States so I doubt he gives a damn
I am 11 miles north of Wasilla, I was asleep, never felt a think, my wife said it was “noticeable”
We get shakers all the time, I rarely notice them.
Hey hatt man, you OK?
My good friend is on a cruise ship somewhere in Alaska. Wonder if they can feel an earthquake on one of those monsters?

Not likely you would notice anything unless you were in the immediate quake area .. we’re off to Alaska in May.. I’m hoping for some Northern Lights, hold the quakes and muskitoes, Thank You.
Glad to hear everyone is Ok
Obama’s fault. Messiah is raining destruction down upon the Alaskan people for electing electing Mrs. Palin.
When the cameras are ready so shall Obammaramma be.
FREEPER B.O.L.O. for Kathy in Alaska
Here in Metro Atlanta we felt one that was centered in TN (maybe AL not sure) just before daybreak several years ago. I was absolutely amazed that the noise and vibration started in the attic and ended in the basement.
Un oh, Sarah’s upset. The Dems and MSM should stop messing with Sarah.
No checks-—Debit cards.
I thought all natural disasters would end once Obama was elected.
Nothing here in Wasilla. Asked my wife, she didn’t feel anything either. Some people are more sensitive to tremors, I almost never feel them. Besides all the pictures are still hanging straight on the walls.
Stay safe.
Issaquah....any activity on your side of town?

Watch out for after-shocks.
I’m relieved there’s no tsunami activity. I see they also downgraded the magnitude to 5.7.
Freeper B.O.L.O. is Cancelled. Kathy Checked in.
Glad you are okay!
*HUG*
I thought the cat jumped on the bed. Didn’t recognize it as an earthquake until I heard about it. My folks got a pretty good jolt in Ninilchik.
That looks pretty close to the volcano island - St. Augustine IIRC?
Anybody from Homer who can tell us anything?
Thanks for the good news.
Lasting nearly five minutes, it was the most powerful recorded earthquake in U.S. and North American history, and the third most powerful ever measured by seismograph; it had a moment magnitude of 9.2 and registered 8.4 on the Richter scale.
I remember a fishing boat owner decided to ride out the Tsunamis in his boat. After the second or third wave arrived his friend asked him on the CB radio, was he alright and where is he? He answered affirmative and looked over the side and said "right now I'm about 35 feet over top the Kodiak High School roof.
Everything is fine here. Didn’t feel a thing.
Our internet was cut off this morning, not sure if it was related.
never felt it - we were doing demo and putting in new floors for a disabled vet (Iraq, Marine) and a whole lot of bangning was going on.
Had a blast, ate some pizza, drank a couple of sodas and replaced all the flooring in the downstairs and kitchen/landury, repaired the 1st floor bathroom - all one level now!
Man, I love that laminate snap together flooring, goes together lickity split.
THaks for the heads up, the wife and I usually bet on those....
