Wednesday’s post-inaugural edition of The Oprah Winfrey Show, taped at a Washington restaurant, overflowed with strange and messianic notions about Obama and how the thrill over him is unanimous. Actor Forest Whitaker summed it up for Oprah: "The light of the New Age is here." Oprah pal Gayle King passed along her agreement with a message that "Not only does he hear us. He feels us. That when I hear Barack Obama, they said, he talks to my soul." Whitaker also strangely claimed "we’re not used to seeing" a president and a First Lady who love each other, but the Obamas have signaled "it’s okay to love."
Did she ever watch Ron and Nancy Reagan or George and Laura Bush? These people only see and feel what they want to see and feel, I suppose.
Our country is going insane.

Bill and Hillary hated each other, cheated on each other, and fought like cats and dogs. Michelle looks like a mean bitch. I would hardly consider her behavior as loving.

I don't know. They both seem to be looking not too lovey-dovey lately. Mrs. O has had a sour face for weeks.
Ophrah has lost it, it seems like she lost her bearings at least 5 years ago. I haven’t been able to watch her in years without feeling like I want to lose my lunch. The woman might very possibly be back on drugs. Unfortunately, the kind of success she has found can be corrupting. She appears to believe that she is experiencing something of Biblical Proportions. Ophrah has lost touch with reality.
It hasn't even been a week and the derangement is already terminal.
I hope Oprah keeps it up. She’ll be off the air in a year. You can’t keep a network TV show by narrowcasting to 25% of the market, i.e. 50% of women, who are Oprah’s primary viewers. (Actually, it’s probably more like 12%, by the time you weed out women who have better things to do than sit around in the daytime watching this kind of drivel.)
Unfortunately the inmates are running the asylum.
The reality is that Obama's leftist political philosophy (and far-left supporters) won't allow him to respond to an attack with anything other than some podium-pounding, a la Clinton. 'Tough' talk - and precious little else. Even the Obama-bots will notice, although I'm sure Oprah will hold a televised memorial service and cry about 'understanding' the terrorists, just as many liberals did following 9/11. I doubt that kind of mealy-mouthed reaction will impress many Americans, following a terrorist attack that might kill thousands, including relatives, friends and neighbors.
'Blaming Bush' if this nation is attacked by terrorists again won't fly when it's Obama who is dismantling the 'War on Terror' apparatus that has helped to keep us safe for over 7 years. Undoing what the Bush administration did (to the cheers of the left) then trying to 'blame Bush' for any bad stuff that dismantling Bush's well-crafted anti-terror apparatus may bring is such blatant hypocrisy as to anger even the most apathetic U.S. citizen.
Oprah is an absolute idiot. For someone to be so ‘hip’ with things.....she got trolled HARD by the internets. It was HILARIOUS to watch. (I bet she fired a bunch of staff after she realized what had happened - kudos to who did it!) Just do a search ‘Oprah, trolled’ and you can read about it.

Oprah is so very deeply deceived it’s pathetic....suppose good Christian blacks are also deeply deceived...it’ll not be too very long when this dark cloud of deception will clear and they’ll all go oh my....how were we so mistaken...voting for BO and the party of death opened a door no one can close and death will follow them and their families...severe heartache is incoming.....
That, and the crowds chanting his name. Seem like this has all come before, and won't end well.

Oprah will not be depressed, she is going to be the one the side with the power. I don't think many here realize just what is going to happen. We have congress critters afraid to say ANYTHING against 0bama for fear of racism charges.
The "fabulousness" of this "New Light of Zartha" exceeded its shelf light just as he squeaked across the primary finish line with slightly more delegates than Hillary.
It's going to be a long, tough, four years for Conservatives and the United States of America.
It is going to be four years of unrelenting failure and misery for Obama and those who support(ed) him.
I’m convinced it’s the New Age thing. She’s jumped into the movement with both feet, who knows what kind of spiritual stuff she’s messing with these days.

If you looked in a mirror every day and saw Aunt Esther staring back at you, you wouldn’t be too happy either.
I hardly ever watch that cow-eyed buffoon, but I remember when Cuba Gooding won his undeserved supporting actor Oscar for Jerry McGuire and gave a rambling incoherent speech that some people critcized—so Orca Winfrey said “some people” didn’t understand what “joy” was and so they criticized him.
I was flipping channels a few months ago and saw Orca had that Dr. Oz guy on, so I watched some of it—they were talking about some health condition, saying blacks should be especially concerned-then Orca said not just blacks but all “people of color” (gag)-then she put on her faux-homegirl accent and said “Ya’ll white folks need to watch as well” and went on to refer to whites as “people of non-color” and “non-people of color”.
What a tool.
Only if we suck it up, get to work, and make it happen.

IMHO when I hear another woman mention watching Oprah I immediately think “stupid”. I truely believe that watching that cr@p lowers your IQ.

I was just at Walmart..many of the adults who were not with their kids had items in their carts that were obviously for kids. One couple, probably grandparents, had a huge, cart- size stuffed Teddy Bear. I thought how much Americans treasure their children and grandchildren.
Americans may be lulled into apathy on the WOT....but if something happens and their children are threatened or hurt, the rage will be at Obama, not Bush....and no doubt very intense as his expectations are now so high.
BTW...For the life of me I couldn’t figure out what an Obama sticker car was doing in the Wallmart parking lot...shopping at a non union, captalist, free trading place ...no doubt buying their chinese flip flops and Vietnamese candles. ha!
She and her minions may very well be experiencing something of Biblical proportions. The “one” took power over the world too easily. How did he do that? Watch who you give your allegience to folks. We may very well be dealing with the “one’ with the 666 number.
