Things are looking dire south of the border, in spite of the fact that illegal immigration has waned somewhat in recent years. If Mexico collapses, we ain’t seen nothing yet.

As much as we may not be entirely happy with him, we should be pulling for Felipe Calderon, because his war on the cartels is going to effect the U.S., one way or another.

Things are not looking dire. Suddenly with Obama’s advent, all these Mexico-is-falling stories are appearing. Ask yourselves why? The left would love Calderon’s government to fail and Obrador and his ilk to succeed. They’ve been seething since the PRI lost its grip. Take a trip to Mexico — past the border towns — and see for yourselves.
