Are conservative leaders arising from GOP mire?

I hope you are correct...but the GOP must also demonstrate competence. I do think many Americans are middle of the road types...we can win them over, but must make some effort.

I would have to disagree, as a former military member I have been stationed across the country from coast to coast, I have been in every state in the union and most of the people I have ever met and talked to were fairly conservative, they are just tired of the politics as usual, they vote someone into office claiming to represent them and the politician ends up representing themselves, wallowing in corruption and back room deals... So they have disengaged from the process.

I firmly believe that if a solid conservative (in any party) stepped up, a lot of people would become re-engaged. and with what is going on now, I hope I am right, we just need the right person!
