That’s untrue.

The words of the oath is a matter of federal law and Obama can’t change it without an act of Congress -— and while that may yet happen, no such law has been passed.

BTW, the origin of this canard is the RuPaul groups, once again making conservatives look stupid.

There is an illuminating article about coverage of the West Bank issue and Samantha Power’s appointment at:

http://israelmatzav.blogspot.com/2009/02/ny-times-friedman-calls-for-us-troops.html

It is an article critical of New York Times columnist Tom Friedman who has taken the same position as Samantha Power.

A video of an interview Power gave about using U.S. Troop deployment to maintain Peace and Nation Build in the West Bank follows the article.

It is a must view!

the real obstacle to a two state solution today is the core issue of Palestinian rejection of Israel’s existence. That is why all the foreign assistance in birthing a Palestinian reichlet will never be enough to make it happen.

I made 2 crippled attempts to posting this yesterday. One failed because the source was a blog in Israel.

Went back to the NY Times article and referenced the Blog link in comments. The times article was too involved to convey real content by simply excerpting. In parentheses I stated the article from the NY Times was Propaganda. And it is.

All traces for my post have been removed.
