Karma means “action”, so yeah, Dear Leader chooses his karma along with the rest of us mere mortals.

If the President needs good karma to succeed, he is in big trouble. Good karma comes from right actions, and he lied, cheated, and stole his way into the White House, where he continues to do more of the same. If he's depending on good karma, he's toast.

I think he'll depend more on brute force, myself.
