I trust Dave Ramsey. I went through his course, and it was great, and it was all about responsability and planning for the future. He knows what he’s talking about.

I agree. We did and encouraged our married kids to also. We have paid off everything and don't have a credit card...strictly cash. Our kids have everything but their homes paid for also, and use only cash. It is so nice to have money available for whatever we want now. Go buy a car, pay cash...feels great.
How dare a financial radio talk show host question “The One’s” stimulus package. Ramsey should be required to give equal time to deadbeats who have no intention of ever repaying their debts. He should be required to balance the portion of his show where people call in to announce that they cut up all their credit cards with calls from people who know how to get even more preapproved credit card applications in the mail even though they are already maxed out on their existing credit cards.

Ramsey has seemed to be trying to be politically neutral up to now.
FOX Business used him as a “calm voice” during the mild panic situatioon that could have been worsened during the TARP drama.
