Well, there were certainly elements that would have liked to have seen the extermination of the UK, and the charter did (and still does as far as I know) called for the unification of all Ireland (as does the Irish constitution, incidentally - they dont recognise the position of ulster).
But I take your point. As a comparison to the objectives of the Mad Mullahs and the caliphitists its all rather tame.
