I don’t disagree with you one bit. I’m just making the case for people to take responsibility for themselves. Yes, we do bleed. As to why do they get the preferential treatment? I think you and I both know the answer to that. And that is a burr under my saddle as well.

My wife and I purchased some farm property in Kentucky several years ago and She now lives there with our Grand Daughter as I am stuck here in Florida trying to sell this house.

Sorry, Kentucky - you have the wrong ethnic makeup and shouldn’t expect help from the fed. But do get back to work soon so that you can pay taxes to support the “right” people.

It is bad - there's still several hundred thousand people without power in Eastern Kentucky, Northeastern Tennessee, and southwestern Missouri. About the only federal help that I know is on site is TVA and that's because they have customers in many of those areas. This ice storm really tore up the grid.
